Good under water footage but the music about put me to sleep. I used to soak my snares for about 15 minutes but I have had my bait disappear too often with that long of a soak. Now I soak for about 5 minutes. Those small fish can get the bait out of the snares quite fast!!

Dungeness are illegal to keep in the San Francisco Bay,,,,,,,,,,,,the fish and game come around every now and then,,,,,,,,,,,,so watch out..........

Crab snaring at a pier like Torpedo wharf is hard because when you reel in, you're doing it almost vertically. As soon as you get the crab close to you, there is a good chance that it will bounce off the dock you are and will fall off. A cage or ring would be best here.

its easy to snare here with 10 foot rods, seals will destroy your crab net and steal the bait wuite often

Catching Dungeness crab in the bay is illegal and you can be fined $1000 dollars. Red crab is ok, but don't be under the assumption you can catch dungeness there.

You can't control what you catch. Any dungies he caught he threw back..... you're only fined if you're in possession of them...ie: in the bucket
