I love to see a split screen of y’all’s movement of the rod with the underwater footage, but you guys are great I love it!!

No one else does underwater footage like Matt and Tim. Easily the best fishing channel on KZread.....and it's not even that close.

Hey Matt or Tim! Just throwing a suggestion out their. I think it would be helpful if you did an underwater video but also put another camera angle on yourself on the boat. And put the videos side by side and we can see what the different baits and lures do with different rod retrieves. Thanks so much for all you guys do we all appreciate it. Ive learned a ton and look forward to your guys videos. Thanks

I’ve had so much success with the Megabass Vision 110 series. Worth the money in my opinion. Yeah, that +1 version has crazy action. My son loves his gill colored tournament version of the Vision 110. Last spawning season, he was able to almost get every spawning bass he went after to viciously hit this thing, whenever it came too close to the bed. Hard rip, then at least a 2 count or more before the next twitch. Those bass went nuts when he did that! It’s as if they get seriously offended that any fish would have the “balls” to invade their territory so brazenly. There’s no better way to explain their reactions to this presentation. My son would probably scold me for giving away one of our secret baits during the spawn, lol.

That bass hitting that vision 110 was amazing!

I know this really has nothing to do with the video, but I had my best day of fishing EVER on Friday. I caught my first 20lb bag, which I know isn't crazy, but it is for me where I live (Central VA). The sad part about the day is that I lost a 7ish pounder and my buddy lost one between 8-10. We could have broken the dirty thirty together if we would have executed a little bit better. Thankfully, I was still able to catch three fish over 5 pounds in one day which is UNREAL for me. So pumped to have been in the right place at the right time. I've never seen the big girls come out to play all at once like that.

@@michaelwise5353 I caught most of my fish on a jig with a zoom big salty chunk trailer. Green pumpkin with chartruese dye on the tips of the trailer. I also caught a few on a jackhammer chatterbait, and a few on a squarebill as well. My buddy caught some on the shakeyhead, brush-hog, and structure bug. They were biting darn near everything we put in front of them. It was incredible.

Awesome video as usual. Every time I watch the underwater footage it blows me away how much sound travels through the water. Did you guys tune these with heavier hooks? I noticed how some sit parallel to the surface and some were extremely nose down at rest. On the content...this is my favorite, combined action demonstration and catching.

Looks like they may have. Read the description by clicking the arrow next to video title and scroll down. Hook and ring upgrading are recommended in the description, but I'm uncertain if implementation was made for this video or not.

I love it learning too really learn how to work a lure.

As a late arriver, late bloomer to this video, Kudos and ThankYou! I learned a lot. As a homespun lure producer I learned where the strikes were and which hooks they were on, hint hint. And I'm so glad I don't have to put that silly bill on my lip-less productions. Again this video was over the top for one who produces their own baits. Tight Lines.

I didn't start catching fish until I started paying attention to your guys's jerkbait videos, so I'm pretty pumped to see this. Have you guys tried the 6th Sense Provoke 106X?

Mega bass takes the cake but man I love that Rerange!!

Braid to flouro does all the 6th sense jerkbaits justice.

I've started fishing nothing but the lucky craft lighting 98xr. It's nice not having to worry about losing a $25 bait.

That RipStop does need a good snap, but it’s a great bait if you’re on a budget. That was my most consistent producer last winter.

Please do this style of under water video with the different brands of soft Jerk baits aka flukes for example reaction innovation,strike king and zoom it would be super cool to see the subtle differences between the different brands and you could also throw in the magnum options as well it would be cool to see sink rates and other things like subtle tail movements and stuff

Interested to know what line you were throwing on? Some baits went nose up and some went nose down. If you were throwing mono leader I wonder if the nose up baits would be nose down or neutral on fluorocarbon??? Great vid guys

Shawn England ripstop ghost shad is a juice bait and I’ve caught monsters on it when times were tough

Awesome video. I'm a jerkbait junkie and I'm pretty happy my favorite JB wasnt listed ;). I love the Pointers, they were the first high end Jerkbaits I began fishing. They are amazing and will always be. Megabass 110s are spectacular and are a work of art but that thin bill, though designed to perfect the action is not durable, disappointing for a 25 dollar bait. But like you mentioned, all these Jerkbaits are excellent and excel in different situations. I've outfished a MB 110 user 5:1 with my favorite jerkbait but I've also been outfished by a Shadow Rap 3:1 later in the spring bite. Best advice is, buy them all 🤣🤣🤣

Agreed, MB vision 110 +1 looked best. Another jerkbait I’ve also liked is the IMA flit. Good stuff here, never take that jerkbait off, tied on pretty much year round.

Ive never had good luck with jerkbaits so I stick with squarebills and lipless. Going to have to pick up a couple of the ones you mentioned.

I caught my PB bluegill 1.52 lbs on a vision 110 this spring...cant wait for the hard jerkbait bite to take off. Theyre already killing the weightless flukes and weightless tubes

Lucky crafts pointer Sp tri-hook jerkbait is one of the biggest jerkbaits I’ve ever seen and my dad has caught multiple 8+ pounders on it, the color “northern yellow perch” hits hard in the Midwest Chicago region.

Would have like too seen the 6th sense provoke!

6th Sense Provoke is my choice. Caught a 4 pounder today on one. I've taken other fish including perch and even a bluegill about the same length as the bait.

Does gear ratio of the reel matter when it comes to jerk baiting or is there a certain ball park you need to have to maintain its jerks?

I would go to a thinner diameter line when deep jerking. That will help you get the lure down deeper.

I'd like to see a video of the strike king KVD and rapala x-rap suspending jerkbaits. I've had a ton of success with them both.

Nice vid :) Love the Megabass 110 :) caught my PB on it, with the wakasagi pattern. I want to try the Rapala Rip Stop but just can't decide on the color. I fish at a reservoir that basically has bluegill, bass, zander, barbel and carp. Could you guys help me out? Want to add that i will probably go with the size 9, because the 12 is just too big for my fishery. Thanks in advance.

The clown color has always worked well for me in lakes where sunfish are the main forage

How do you keep your Vision 110’s from pausing nose down?
