Thank you it works for 14600k too. Updated bios Quick step by step: 1. Make sure your UEFI is updated to the latest version. 2. Boot into your UEFI > "Advanced (F7)" > "Overclocking" (OC) 2. Change "Microcode selection" to "No UVP" 3. In "Advanced CPU Configuration" change "CPU Lite Load " to "Mode 1" (optional, as it may just tank your performance even with no uvp enabled, at least for me it did) 4. Go back into "Overclocking" and change "CPU Core Voltage Offset Mode " to "- By CPU" and "CPU Core Voltage Offset" to "0.180" mine is stable at this value, or any other value that is stable for your system. Make sure to test stability with cinebench or other benchmarking software 5. Go to "DigitAll Power". Change "CPU Loadline Calibration Control" to "Mode 1"

@@reinulf656 What I did in my case is that I left everything on default, but I instead limited my CPU wattage to 181W and set a negative offset of -150. Now my temps are 85 max when benchmarking but it doesn't even reach 75 when playing Cyberpunk 2077.

Went from hitting 101 to 78 while increasing cinebench by 600 . Thanks a lot man.

A little late, but I don’t normally comment on tech help videos, but I had to comment with how much of a blessing this video is. Was able to apply a .150 undervolt and my rig is maxing at 65C under load

FYI Asus B760 board has undervolt protection disabled by default I undervolted my 13600KF using the offest method as shown in this video and my Cinebench score increased while the CPU temp dropped by 16C

Thank you very much...I am **** with 13600KF + B760M MSI and could not lower the temperature below 90 degrees. At the same time, I squeezed the maximum in R23 22973. After your settings, I was able to survive in R23 23541 at 81 degrees (the hottest core), the average temperature does not exceed 75.

Dude you are a savior. I'm seeing at least 20 degrees drop in temperatures after doing what you recommended (although I reduced the core volt by 0.15 instead of 0.1, since my cpu core volt was already topo high like around 1.155). Thanks a ton brother. God bless you. EDIT: now I have reduced it by 0.2 volts and the systems seems to be running at much lower temperatures. I think I'll stick with these settings. Thanks again. This is fucking unbelievable bullshit from intel. I was about to buy a new cooler for my cpu as the temps were hitting through the roof.

As far as I know Asus has it too not sure about the other brands. Don't forget to update the bios. If still doesnt work try older versions.

Hey I recently built a pc with a 14700k and an Asrock B760m and I've been getting ridiculous 100C temps. Been trying to figure out how to fix that and saw your video. I'm running the latest 7.05 asrock Bios but I don't see overclocking options anywhere. Set the microcode to 0x104 but still don't have any of the mentioned settings and I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hmm... Even though I enabled "No UVP", low CPU Lite Load (even 3, 4 or 5) still fucks up my performance on a B760 - very low cinebench score. So I had to balance this out: CPU Lite Load 9 and -0.130 offset worked very well for me. Getting 23800~ @ 81°C now, nice Update: new settings - lite load 11 and offset -0.130, finally getting 24k @ 83°C. I like that numbers Update 2: forgot to mention that I'm getting roughly 60-65°C in games and 71°C in various heavy multi-core tasks. You probably want to go sub 80° in cinebench, but I'm fine with it reaching 83° Conclusion: offset matters more than the lite load in terms of temps

I lowered mine but im not sure what it is. Doesn't seem to affect temps or wattage. You can tweak it if u want.

I saw the video but I am having trouble understanding what to do. I have the strix b760i and a non K 14600. I updated to the latest bios because when I booted up with the original bios, the vcore was set at 1.68v and the cpu was toasting. An I do these changes inside the bios?

@@rabihrabih5336 Then you have the static core voltage. You basically lower the voltage by small decrements. Try setting it to 1.150v

Also don't forget that if your PC crashes on low lite mode values, just keep adding +1 until it isn't anymore

Intel seem to have fixed the overheating issues caused by absurd stock voltage. My CPU doesn't go over 85°C in stress testing but will power throttle after 181w.

Only guide that worked good vid bro no cap warzone was getting 75-88 now 65-75 got couple settings separated but all their nun the less also used -60 on core Msi z690-a 12600k

Yeah undervolting is natively supported on higher end boards, so it should be easier for you.

Asrock and MSI both gave me good experience. Get a b760 because a b660 you will need to update bios with last gen first.

@@jajijo_6616 Bonjour, tu dois activer le mode 1 pour la charge légère du CPU. Désactive le microde UVP pour lever la protection contre l'undervolt. Ensuite, dans les paramètres de gestion de l'alimentation numérique, configure le CPU Loadline Calibration Control également en mode 1. Enfin, réduis progressivement la tension de ton CPU comme indiqué dans la vidéo. Étant donné que tu possèdes un i7, ajuste-la prudemment pour éviter toute baisse de performance notable. J'espère que ces instructions te seront utiles.

@@ThionylChloride fasho champ, i selected offset mode on "-" and then went to offset value option below, as far as i remember, pressed the minus button on ur numpad(fully on the right) it should pop out with a warning bla bla undervolting voids ur warranty or something like that press okay and then ur offset mode should change to ( -/+ (PWM/CPU)) Something like that cant fully remember but i think its like this, if not try pressing minus button on the offset mode option it should change it

set it on 0.150 should be stable, i set it on mode 9 cuz mode 12 still burns the living shit out of the cpu and mode 6 lowers its performance, seems like mode 9 is the "golden middle", gave me a 5% boost on the benchmark while maxing out on 90-ish degrees Also if ur able buy a thermalight cpu frame if ur goal is lowering the temp even further

Isnt it not optimal to pair a "K" Intel cpu with a B760 board because you are spending extra money on an overclockable cpu when the board doesn't support it? I know the video is just about undervolting but I was wondering if you are capable of overclocking on such board.

Yes but non k is also a bit weaker and if ure lucky motherboard manufacturers can sometimes release a bios that lets you overclock. In my case I bought the cpu when it was new and there wasnt other variant and I didnt wanna spend 50€ more in a motherboard.

You helped me a lot! From 10500 cinebench score I have reached 23340(double!) with msi b760 ddr4 II MB and 13600kf. Cooler as500plus. I tried Mode 9, -0.110V and max temp 85°, 178W With Mode 7, -0.115V, max temp 80°, 168W. Multi score 22630. Will try more adjustments, I want find sweet spot for lower wattage and optimal performance/temps.

Help!! My offset voltage allows only 0.050 value anything higher bounces back to auto

Yes its safe as long as you dont put positive voltage offset. If you put too low the system might get unstable and bluescreen but wont break anything. I recommend doing -0.150v, remember its negative voltage offset.

@@jajijo_6616 il faut mettre NO UVP ensuite tu a deux endroit où mettre le mode 1 et pour finir tu mais 0.100

@@J0ttaDfollowed the steps to a T tried it 5 times. Then I followed another guide usining throttle stop which worked perfect, I think your method only works with 13600k and lower.

what cooler do you have ?

That's BULLSHIT! Why buy an b660/b760 mobo? The MSi z690-p is super cheap! You have good VRM and a HELL! Off CPU control in Bios ! Im running an 14600k using lite load 4, loadline 7 , -40MV cpu ,and I can run dynamic overclock 5.8 ghz Pcore ,4.4ghz E-core 4800 ring,169w max power whit Cinebench 82C max temp Air cooler , cpu-z 927 single and 10800 multi.
