Hey uh,I was just wondering if this uh project of yours was on scratch

Since flowey seems to remember timelines I like the thought of him directing asgore to use different attacks each time the player presses continue and learns previous attacks, prolonging the fight much longer than it’d be without him.

i really love it when asgore says "see these souls? they're in my control, they trust me". it symbolizes that even the human souls know that we are an evil being, so much so that they would rather side with their killer than with us. how we are not only a threath to monsterkind, but to humanity aswell. instant sub from me!

I always loved that UT OST song :D

I noticed smth funny - on neutral and pacifist (in canon ig) Asgore says "come to the barrier when you're ready." in this he says "come this instant." he's out of patience and actually wants to fight you.

I like how flowey is actually being good for once even if it is for himself

I don't think he sees this as "being good at the end" or "doing the right thing", it's most likely he's just like "I help you if you make sure I don't die, big man" But hey, you got a point anyway

Some of these lines feel like he came up with an epic line and then quickly tried to make a rhyme and that is totally what he would do.

I like the voice effect Asgore has for most of the song because I like to think it's the souls making his voice louder and more powerful

Good lyrics, I hope they make more games where they do justice to the king's power, you know what they say, "There is nothing more terrifying than seeing a patient man lose his cool"

I don't see anyone talking about this so i shall do the honor. "Long ago, I did respawn" is the best lyric in my opinion, it shows that flowey had that power until we (Frisk) fell down.

Heya!! I wrote all the Lyrics for Flowey and I mixed Asgore's voice :) It was a lot of fun to help out with this, everyone did great ^^

you know it's gonna be good whenever you hear Bub8les singing as the character, true god tier work mate, absolutely amazing. can't wait for future projects :D

Ya know, something I've never understood is why Asgore doesn't just absorb the human souls when he gets them.

The souls could easily fight back and Asgore, knowing you can just reload, there’s no real point in fighting you(Genocide). On Pacifist and Neutral, he’s keeping up a facade. But on Genocide, everyone is dead. He has no reason to fight.

​@@TheRepublicOfDixionconderoga He could steal your ability to SAVE since 6 human SOULs > 1 human SOUL I heard someone theorize that he refuses to do it because he could only save over a devastated kingdom and in Undertale it is implied that you can only RESET to the moment you got the power to be able to. He was called by Alphys when half his kingdom was murdered and almost all of the Royal Guards too. So, maybe, he was depressed about it or something.

In my opinion, the BEST thing asgore could do in this situation is pass through the barrier with the 6 human souls, go up and obliterate humanity stealing all of their souls and just leave frisk to rot in the underground (or come back with 7 human souls and kill frisk idk)

Unfortunately (or fortunately, if you're Genocide Frisk) the best thing he could do isn't what he does. He's too softhearted to do something that cold, even if it would be the best thing to do - with that power, he may even be able to revive the monsters, especially if he acquires MORE human souls, since 7 seems to just be the minimum to break the barrier, not the maximum.

With LV20, player can one shot any monster, and nothing could deal more than 1 damage to them, but asgore with 6 souls, took all that damage, and deal so many damage to player, they're indeed strong
