Finally caught a Shayy stream, they spent 17 hours getting Gaster'd into a softlock until Toby Fox Tobussy'd their home and randomized all the rooms in his actual real life. They've been live for the past week stranded in their Minos' Labyrinth of a home. Great entertainer he is.

The “fake ending” isn’t necessarily the ruins one. That ending door is both a cutscene (credits) trigger and an entrance, so the credits plays first, then you get immediately teleported to a random room.

There's something kind of haunting about going through Undertale like this. You have all these familiar locations but much of the gameplay and dialogue that's meant to take place there is missing. It creates this odd sense of emptiness, like you're traversing through a liminal space...

i have been wanting to do this for like 3 months now and it was finally a good opportunity LOL

you know, if all the rooms are randomized, there's a chance that on a run, all the rooms will be randomized to where the game will be exactly the same as it normally is. just like shuffling a deck of cards, there's a chance that if you shuffle a certain amount of time/times, the deck will be the exact same as how it was before you took it out of the box/tin.

My favorite parts of the video are: 1:28 The transition straight from the starting room to CORE. 5:10 The fact that Shayy thought he found the ending, only to get Temmie'd. 8:00 I love it whenever Shayy yells "SANS!?", but this has got to be my favorite instance. It sounds hilariously visceral. 12:38 Reaper Bird Jumpscare was funny, but the fact that Shayy *yelled* when he got jumpscared by Knight Knight is the funniest thing. 13:43 The game taunts him, for the Punch Card is just out of reach... 14:40 Honestly this is interesting because I have no clue what happened here. Is the black screen with the dust sound a room that serves as a neutral/genocide cutscene? 19:27 I love how Shayy walked into a random ass door and the ending credits started playing. Also, while on topic, this means the ending credits are a separate room, so even if Shayy were to get the actual ending door, he would still go to a random room. 27:38 This short series of events is so damn hilarious. Shayy winds up in an entirely dark room, thinks he softlocked, finds he's actually in the True Lab elevator, leaves and ends up in the normal elevator, goes to a random floor, and gets TPE. 30:39 I’ve somehow never seen this cutscene, and Shayy's dramatization of it makes it that much funnier. 31:45 Elevator to TPE 2: Shayy finds the Gaster door, ends up in True Lab, gets a textbox glitch, and softlocks. 33:14 And finally, Gaster has been located. This was the best way to end the video.

That's part of a battle cutscene that spawns from Asgore with MDR16, not a room, so it wasn't included (and without serious modification would basically be impossible get in this setting unfortunately)

A mod where every encounter is every enemy all at once would be very silly.

This is basically, "Undertale, but you have the power of Sans."

You need an everything randomizer (like I said in the community post) Monsters are random and have randomizer dialogue, pick ups are randomized (you can buy spider donut and get butterscotch pie) attacks are randomized and do random damage (like 1-45 or something) and rooms are randomized (also soundtracks)
