When you think about it, failed experiments of fused pokemon sounds like a cool idea for a plot for a future pokemon game, I'd love to go through a lab and encounter failed mutations of pokemon, while you learn about the history of the experiments and shit like that.

Here's my idea for a Pokemon Amalgamate. Octupeon, the Eight-Headed Pokemon Pokemon amalgamated: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon Type: Water/Electric/Fire/Psychic/Dark/Grass/Ice/Fairy Ability: Power of Eight The Pokemon can have eight types, remember thirty-two moves, and use eight of said moves simultaneously. In addition, it has seven different abilities (Water Absorb, Volt Absorb, Flash Fire, Synchronize, Leaf Guard, Snow Cloak, and Cute Charm). An Eevee in a lab was levelled up with high affection and friendship while knowing a Fairy-type move and being simultaneously exposed to a Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Fire Stone, Sun Shard, Moon Shard, Moss Rock and Ice Rock. This is the result of that experiment.

This plays in my head when I keep thinking about a story I happened to weave a long time ago where Eevee gets experimented on via forced evolution, gene splicing etc. and ends up destroing the lab. Nyxxie's comment is genius. I can imagine a whole sound-related plot revolving in a Pokémon fangame, and this track is exactly the kind of basis said game's potential OST should be based on. It's like an easter egg hunt for past fans. Regardless, the sound textures here are amazing for a DS title.

The Alagmamon: Pokèmon brought back to life with ditto DNA. Eventually it worked and before they could go back to their trainers, the ditto's smudginess caused the Pokemon to start to melt and combine together into the Alagmamon.

Ears of minun and plusle, its got the jewel of meowth. erm, what else... The tail thingy looks like... Uhm... or wait, is that a tongue? ok, so... its got a single red eye, and the vein is... so its not any ice types... *your pokedex fried up...

Here is my own pokémon amalgamate: Letsgomalgamate The amalgamate pokemon(? Merged pokemon: Eevee and Pikachu. Type: Normal/electric Gender: Female and male Ability: Determination (Will make the enemy's attack damage 30% less) Egg group: Undiscovered. Backstory: In a fanmade pokemon episode (It's not real at all and you can't even watch it.), Ash pikachu and Chloe's Eevee got kidnapped by team rocket, but then a mysterious scientist stole Pikachu and Eevee from Team rocket and started to experiment on them. The scientist injected both pokemon with determination and because Pikachu and Eevee are both monsters (because pokemon are a short name of pocket monsters), they melted into eachother and became Letsgomalgamate. Dex entry: Because Letsgomalgamate got injected with determination, it is no longer a Pokemon. It lives inside a dark, spooky lab where it kills any intruders. If you throw a pokeball at it, it will just be absorbed and eaten by it. Neither Ash or Chloe can return it into their pokeball, as their pokemon are fused together forever in absolute agony.

That Pokemon sprite is horrifying tho, so good job if that was the intention.

There's Ditto, obviously, some of Latias and Latios' wings... What could be a Combee larva, a wee bitta Mew's tail (darkened), and probably a Duskull's eye... Hmm, is that a Roggenrola's earhole?

Pokemon for memoryhead Ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto, and porygon to fuck up ur phone Reaper bird: Xatu Dustox and a random support pokemon is sent when you pray for safety. This pokemon helps everyone and does not have to be killed. Snowdrakes mom: Yamask with only curse Froslass Endogeny Ghost type arcanine purrloin that can only be sent out from roar or a move like roar. Lemon bread: Golbat Gulpin Krookodile. The 3 memoryheads would be scattered around, not in 1 area. Reaper bird must be called when you turn 10 times in 4 different mirrors around the lab. Lemon bread appears when you try to save the game. Endogeny will attack if u remain afk for 2 minutes. Snowdrakes mom slowly limps around the map, but when she sees you, she gains 2x more speed than you and charges.

Now yes this is amazing, but the fact that it isn’t the original kinda defeats the purpose See, the original is actually made up of sounds from earthbound, which Toby is well known for making ROM hacks of. Thus, the Amalgamates theme was quite literally an amalgamation, or Amalgamate, itself!
