Does the ligament come out with the tooth when extracted?

I would assume this is is possible, however most times the ligament will remain within the socket as far as I'm aware. It is thought that the ligament produces cells that differentiates into osteoblasts for example that help to regenerate the bone in the socket. Hopefully that helps? All the best!

@@OnlineExodontia it helps a bit! I had my #15 molar extracted but I don't recall if the ligament was or wasn't and I'm afraid I might have a cavitation.

@@Chinese080808 usualy bio/holistic dentist take out the ligament. At least mine did. Most regular dentist dont even know about removing the ligament. So youre question is legit to ask.

If you inject the anesthesia on the ligament of the upper premolar, which areas will feel numb?

If you inject properly into the PDL, you won't notice a large area of numbness like you would for an infiltration. So for the question you asked, it would be that tooth that would feel numb and the gingiva on the side you inject on (whether that be palatal of buccal). Hope that helps. All the best!

My dentist is trying to avoid this feeling of numbness from anesthesia to reach my soft palate because it makes me gag so bad, she is suggesting this method but im still scared but your answer gives me a bit of courage because i wont feel it on the soft palate right?

@@matchapancake1795 Anesthetic in the upper premolar region should not generally reach the soft palate. You'll be on the hard palate in that region so you should be fine. All the best!
