ChRiStOpHeRrrrr!!!!! Why did you have to go and make me cry?!! The ending hit hard but it was all beautiful Not informative in the traditional ways but you are such a lovely story teller and in many ways this hits deeply for my personal situation... Trapped in france, needing political asylum, trying to get to a safe place with good people that add to my life but will also allow me to add my own dramatic flare... And I am a good cook 😂 But also how it fits the collective I see represented on social media, how they fit many different aspects of the cast for various reasons or different scenarios but at a modern twist Or what's happening on a larger scale all over I love the depth This is new to me but well chosen It makes me wonder how you'd break down other films, I kept thinking of the old school clash of the titans or jason and the argonauts... Though I did love out of africa and all 3 movies I watched repeatedly when I was a child/teen So while I'm humorously upset and crying towards the end This particular video is a gift I know unconditional love, that agape love And while I always adore watching your work, this one touched that love in a human to human, story teller to story teller sort of way I don't have many opportunities to really FEEL alive, not for a while but this really helped... Thank you

Extraordinary Christopher! That was so utterly enjoyable, I felt I was at the dinner table with all the guests! These sessions with you take the place of a weekly experience that I miss so desperately…Selected Shorts on NPR… I would run errands on sat mornings as i listened to all the programming including short stories read aloud by well known actors and actresses. I haven’t listened to that in a very long time and not even sure it’s still broadcast…but this was lovely in the same exact way! It’s funny you should mention Marcus Aurelius teachings…they seem to be in the air lately…from Jerry Seinfeld talking about his new film and how he reads Marcus Aurelius teachings…i just went out and purchased a few books to read them as well. Thank you So Much!!

Perfect! I found it very satisfying to hear the quote at the end, "An artist is never poor. " YES!! Money can buy us some of the things that bring us pleasure but it can't buy our ability to experience pleasure. Or a sense of wonder or marvelous. It can't buy us the awareness of the profound, the divine or improve our ability to give and receive love. It can't make us perceive and comprehend the beauty we encounter. It can't put the blue in the sky or the shine in the sun. It can't close your eyes to the ancient twinkling of stars nor the magic in moonlight. If you can still access the ability to perceive with your heart what your eyes see, what your ears hear, you truly never will be poor.

It is you, dear Cristopher, the embodiment of Jupiter in Venus. Such a wonderful story! Thank you ever so much!

As a Taurus, with my Venus in Pisces (27 degrees) - in the 12th house …. in a grand water trine, and a creator/potter/energy worker/knitter, etc., I was transcended by your reminding me that I am always rich. Yet again, you make influences clear. Love your story about Jupiter. There is a movie about two sisters living by an ocean. A young man washed ashore not knowing who he was. It turns out he was a reknowned violinist. He became as a son to the sisters. When his memory returned, he returned their care by arranging for the sisters to his concert. It is a moving story, just as the story you shared Pisces trine my 29° Scorpio Mercury!!

Thank you for reminding us of that extraordinary film, which of course you have to be of a certain age to have been able to watch and appreciate! A favourite of mine. A real Venus-Jupiter in Taurus experience!! What that meal brought to them as well as "grace" was "pleasure" which is a very Venusian experience, that those very religious people have left out of their lives. Simple enjoyment of the senses. The flavours, the smell and aromas of that amazing meal that Babette spent all her inheritance money on. I will add Eris (the uninvited) which was also at the end of Pisces, at the end of the 19th century, since Babette revolutionised the sisters, and although they welcomed her to their home, she was an unexpected guest, coming from another culture. Thank you so much for this! Those people have also left out Pluto. Thank you again for this.

Oh, Christopher, you took one of my all time favorite movies and added even more depth and magic. As a musician w a packed 8th house, Jupiter and Venus being my rulers (AC, sun) and Pluto moving through my 12th and first for most of my life (losing nearly everything as it did), your story telling wisdom truly touched me. An artist is never poor, indeed.

I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting this tale through your retelling. As a former Lutheran seminarian, I offer that as students we were fond of following in our founder's footsteps by doing theology in the pub---for Luther it was the Biergarten. The comingling of spirits is a lovely expression of Jupiter/Venus. I know that some later Lutheran sects/traditions pursued a more ascetic path, but Luther encouraged us to "sin boldly" so that we'd more easily perceive grace at work, freely given, unearned, bestowed out of love. Wonderful job, my friend. 1
