Understanding International Plumbing Code: Chapter 6 Sections 601 to 604
Ойын-сауық
International Plumbing Code Chapter 6 is all about water supply and distribution systems. This video presentation covers IPC sections 601 to 604, which gives specific information about the installation of water supply and distribution systems. These sections outline the code regulations regarding water system design criteria, minimum delivery amounts, maximum flow rates at fixtures, and how to handle low or high pressure from the water service pipe, including the requirement for pressure reducing valves.
This video is based on the 2021 International Plumbing Code, so chapter 6 might look a little different than previous or later versions of the code. Generally, the code requirements do not change much from one edition to the next.

Thanks for the videos Tom! These code walkthroughs are sooo much more helpful than reading a dry code book.

Sure thing. Thanks for watching.
I agree Tom. Maniblocks are terrible long term. They're a waste of piping and a lot of water. A traditional truck and branch system is far superior. They use less piping and when hot water is run to a say lavatory faucet in a bathroom, hot water is brought to the whole bathroom. In a manifold system only hot water is at the fixture used. Man, they were they were all the rage when they first came out!
