Our Grade 2 ( Stage 3) Learners have flipped to the physical learning mode Hands on & Minds on .”- they have started with Multiplication and Number stories - RaK’s way of learning Multiplication is not by memorising tables but also to understand how the tables are formed using concrete objects. Learners were asked to choose a Multiplication sentence from the given chits. They answered it and verified their answers using repeated addition, making equal groups and arrays. They also verified the commutative property of Multiplication through this activity. They have also experienced formation of rows , columns , product , arrays and mastered the concept.
