Love Dr Lasko’s holistic approach. Wish we had more Docs like him in the world. Many autonomic patients have been misdiagnosed with anxiety and other inaccurate diagnosis. Let’s find the root cause and treat without over medicating as much as possible. Bless him.

After dealing with this for almost 7 years this feels like a breakthrough after so many doctors refuse to listen and always blame it on anxiety.

I have dysautonomia and vasovagal syncope. I take Midodrine and fludocortisone. I still have pre syncope symptoms what I call “episodes” every other day/every few days. I used to completely pass out and seize, now I have a pacemaker and don’t fully pass out anymore.

Pacemakers, for some patients, have really shown to make a difference. DSN offers great resources on our website, including Handouts and Handbooks, you should check them out: www.dysautonomiasupport.org/

My problem at the moment is migraine clusters and IBS . I live in the UK and there isn't much knowledge here, so I don't know whether it would be good to take cbd oil to calm the brain and bowels. Our NHS has been very kind to me but as you say nothing shows up, but they do believe me. I am currently on no medication at all and been in long covid Dysautomania for 20months with many various illnesses x
