In my case it is the opposite: I can speak regularly, but I can not understand. People speak very fast and there are so much ascents in Ireland. I am unmotivated.

It has been my problem for many years. I can read, write and speak but don't understand what people say. I have watched tons of English videos, many movies and listened to gigabytes of audiobooks and conversations. Still the same problem.

Stop speaking and just listen to comprehensible input. You have forced the language on yourself before you were ready to speak.

On the contrary In my case it's the opposite. I can understand almost all accent including Georgie cockney Irish Scottish etc.but not able to speak as fluently as some native speakers

It's good to get lots of practice listening to a range of sources and imitating the sounds even if you don't understand everything. How much do you understand? 5%? 50%?

Sounds like you can usually understand enough to engage with the material. Try listening carefully and repeating any sections you're not sure of. In addition to imitating, transcribing (listing and writing exactly what you hear) small sections could also be useful. Good luck.

That's a good method but... you don't have anybody to correct you. That's the problem.

True, somebody to correct you would be ideal. However, if that's not an option, this is better than just reading and studying in silence. Also, if you struggle to express an idea, you will identify areas of weakness that you may be able to resolve independently. Gracias por su comentario, saludos!

@Jakegoznaet it is difficult. I am already able to make somethings alone, like to go to the pharmacy, supermarkets, pubs or libraries, but I always talk the basic with people and if people ask me more than I expect (normally too fast), than I am in trouble. I always try to pay attention on what people are normally talking about, but I can not understand. it is very frustrated.

Sorry, there is nothing I can do to help you. This situation was easier for me than for you because I came to Ireland not knowing to have the sound of American English in my head. My situation was that I found myself in another country and I understood some of the people from the first day and I did not understand another part of the people. I started speaking my first words in English at the age of 35. I never had English in school and life forced me to explore how it was possible for me to understand the language of another country. Age is the biggest obstacle to understanding any language. If you are under 26, you still have some chance of understanding their regional dialect of English. If you are over 26, you have to be patient.

If you have English as a second language, you can say words with it. In my experience, it took me up to 3 years to begin to understand one of their regional dialects when they spoke to me one-on-one. Some of them spoke more clearly than others. In a situation like this, it would be best to have something that shows subtitles live in the conversation.
