@@ratman7f3 I think it's more likely they're complaining about that creative process not being sufficiently transformative, which is absolutely a valid basis for an argument even if I don't personally think that is the case here.
I am loving these Barber Beats. Feels like a continuation of the downtempo scene that lasted until 2002-2004. Also, cool cover art man.

Perfect to turn on while gaming, not over the top but enough to add a lot of vibes and chill.
very jazzy cool feel, like of early 2000s chill tracks, glad this is returining
first track already rocks
I found this picture on Pinterest, it is now on my wall. While listening to an album with that picture.. cool :)

cool stuff:)

Perfect
Infused reality sheltered into oblivion. Cationic overlay shutdown of internal aura systems, regain energies that nestle betwixt the void inside.
Not sure how the algorithm brought me here but I’m loving it
🔥🔥🔥
Love how chill hugues de Payens is

Gorgeous
This is actually very good! Happy I found another (barber beats? thief?) artist😂🔥🔥 ...plus this artwork reminds me a lot of berserk😭😭

the image is flipped horizontally though, which is kind of dumb from the artist maybe to avoid copyrights if there are any? But for those who know Japanese you can clearly notice it. If you ever wonder it reads "死後の忠誠" which means "loyalty after death". The calligraphy reads "Loyalty".

anyone have a list of the OG tunes? wanna peep those too
Thinking about releasing this album myself with different track titles and 2% slower. Should I do it?

Lmao it's not ai. The art featured on the cover is stolen and edited.
Most of these tracks are from Yimino - Breaker just slowed down a tiny bit. Completely untouched. I'll go and listen to that instead and support the people who actually made it :)

Listening to this album on KZread also supports the artist because of copyright claims. Also undersaken implicitly states on his bandcamp that everything is plundered, I just don't reserve those niceties.

All the barber beat artists that work with us do this for fun and just like to share cool music and art (also because physical media is dope).
@scars-cigars
16 күн бұрын
Haha hey man. Go for it. Yimino is awesome. To say that most of the tracks are completely untouched goes to show your ignorance and infancy when it comes to production. These not only sound better but i also chopped out some of the deadweight of the tracks. Also you don't have to mention your departure to everyone. This isn't an airport.

(Im undersaken hows it going duuuuuude) Compression, eq, timestretching, convolver effects, and proper knowledge of headroom are all decent skills and effects that were applied to the tracks. Having said all that. Are you new to barber beats? I can assure you that im far from the only one who does this shit. I'm not going to justify myself to you. And honestly I have respect for you actually knowing Yiminos tunes. I'd say I should at least get a bit of returned respect for flipping these samples instead of just flipping a lounge track like most people. I just want to share my favorite tunes with people. It's a fun hobby and now because of this wicked art that I put together, these tunes can get a better exposure and can be enjoyed. You may disagree with my methods and that's totally fine man. You are free to give your opinions. But honestly. This is me just being real. Nobody fking asked you. @@doliverius

It's my personal favorite track on this release, feels like floating. Granted I'm not prejudiced against French music. (Edit:didn't read context but yeah, I guess if something weirdly sounded like a particular American country song I'd be put off as well lol. 😅)

@@Dreamcorp.Inc. not to keep circle jerking but it's definitely a.i. art with the usual artifacts: overly complex armor, their left hand literally has 6 fingers and just turns into a sort of mesh, the right hand just hard-cuts once it gets behind the sword, their left knee is pointy, their right knee is rounded, their left foot sinks into the earth, the right foot goes behind the rock he's sitting on, their whole stance doesn't make any sense, they appear to be squatting to take a shit right in their armor and awkwardly using their sword to support theirself. if it's not a.i. then whoever made it went well out of their way to make it appear like hot a.i. garbage

@@manajunky5095 Upon closer inspection you're right, just didn't expect something off Pinterest to be ai. Still looks cool tho.
Don't support this bullshit, you need to credit the original artists. Saying 'I take no credit' is pure nonesense, your taking their audiences. Can't believe I paid this guy. Even the image is stolen. Leaving this for others who come here thinking it looks or sounds 'cool'

@@newmusiccomposer that's what's up! Y'know, there is an argument to be made for crediting original artists, at least in the descriptions on KZread and bandcamp, but for me personally it ruins the mystique of the genre for first time listeners.
