Aaron's drumming got really predictable after DTGL I think, honestly their whole sound wore thin for me after hearing that album a few times. This ones always been the most interesting out of that whole 2nd era of Underoath for me. Daniel really is a fantastic drummer and I hope he goes on to do something since leaving ETID.

@@DrummerEvan1 Daniel did also Low Teens, Redeemer, O God Aftermath, Bless The Martyr, now this one with Underoath and other indie-band album, which i am excited to listen to. Redeemer and Low Teens are two my favorite records of all time / and Daniel is simply my favorite drummer. His brutal intensity on drum kit, stands out and his "off" playing at some parts, is just insane. I mean, when i am listening to most of my favorite records, most of drum parts are at least, at some moments really predictable, but i wish that i can see Daniel how he did Redeemer. I was watching one Grand Scene For A Color Film drum cover and it was insane, how over the whole place his parts are + that brutal intensity, mainly snare sounds monumental from his hands. Only Goose Holyoak is at the same place, like Daniel - with his innovative and unique approach to drum fills. He did Polar Similar and Wrongdoers (btw, he recorded ALL cymbals SEPARATELY for that album, which is insane) and also ex-Helmet drummer, John Stainer - he was the first one, with raw snare approach in mainstream scene, i think. These three guys are so awesome, man but Daniel is just the king for me. This Underoath record is also one of my favorites, thx to him.

That depends. If Spencer never used drugs, he would never achieve that rawness of his vocals on Disambiguation. So it was for.. greater good i guess? Even those lyrics are circled around drug use and being drowned in something. So the irony of all that lies in the fact, that drugs were important so this record could be made in first place. It is interesting. Most of best records were made cause bad conditions and such. It is like.. when band members are going through some shit, the music will challenge them and it will take the best from them. It sometimes seems like the best is coming from the worst and visa versa.
