2024, still listening to these guys. I saw them in Detroit in 2005 and I still remember these guys. Such nice dudes. They offered me a beer at the bar they played at. I'll never forget it. Love you guys. No one did it better. EDIT: Thank you for the memories and sharing a moment with a nobody local Detroit peon.

I miss this era of hardcore / metalcore.

I remember this first coming out, still hits good 2020!!

Still jamming this in 2018

I was first introduced to this band when I went to an Evergreen Terrace show at the old Rock Island venue here in downtown Denver, Colorado. They were the opening band for the show and as soon as they started their first song, I knew they were something special. I couldn't believe how awesome they were. Despite getting punched in the face almost immediately after the song started, they became one of my favorite metal bands and are sort of responsible for some of the progression of the metal that I enjoy today. Something about their vocals, combined with their beautiful, melodic guitar riffs, complicated bass lines and "punch you in the face" drum beats make them one of the most amazing Hardcore/Metal bands I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Thanks guys for putting out beautiful music!

To think their vocalist now plays guitar in Sleeping With Sirens. He should totally bring more of those yells and riffs again!

There's plenty of bands bringing back the early/mid 2000s metalcore sound while also mixing in modern influences. Counterparts, Renounced, Vein, Sanction, Seeyouspacecowboy, .tourniquet., Chamber, Wristmeetrazor. Check em all out

I remember seeing these guys back in 2005. I went by myself. Took the bus to downtown Seattle on a cold night. I remember stopping by my ex girlfriends house before and she was with her new boy toy so I was extra angsty at the show. Lol. I’ll never forget how bad ass there sound was. If I remember correctly they had Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier full stacks with the mids mostly scooped and turned way up. One of the most brutal but extremely pleasing loud hardcore sounds I’ve ever heard and I’ve been to a fair share of shows back in the early 2000’s. They really rocked that night. After the show I talked to the lead singer dude with the glasses. He was cool as shit.

I loved this song and album as a kid. Gets me right in the feels.

Randomly thought of this song the other day. Remember seeing them live at Soma in San Diego in either 07 or 08. They killed it. Man, I feel old now, but damn music back then was so good.

I kinda despised that whole trend of metalcore/deathcore bands from the mid-2000's hahaha... And here I am! 1. I always thought it was by "Underoath" (that's why I couldn't find it!) 2. I'm in 11th grade right now, I never really got into this band, but this song is fucking sick. And talking to people who were my age when this came out are always surprised I even know bands like undermined, scary kids scaring kids, senses fail, alexisonfire and Silverstein. Let alone listen to them. Those bands were like my entire eighth grade. Damn I miss listening tho them all

my friend suggested this band the other night while we were drunk discussing post-hardcore and it's easily become one of my favorites.

@Doika86 This song is 8 years old. It came out in '04 on their first Album. And it was probably written earlier than that because they've been together for 13 years. And no, good metalcore is good metalcore.
