Holland to Yorkshire, night and day. Holland is a loving caring community all the way around and they love and respect the people. However Yorkshire is evil and I can't really understand why one would live there. People there must be getting this attitude shoved up their a__es and it must be a very ugly experience for the people living there, as well as visitors that are passing through. Love your content Dan and don't ever underestimate the viewers liking the refreshing places you show us all that are like Holland

Yeah! I was gonna comment something like that! So I agree! Don't know why, I, from Norway, find that I really like this video with all the local history and the conversations with the really pleasant people!? But I really do! So when you go places that doesn't call the cops, and are just friendly. You should have conversations with them and get some of the history of the place or if they have some recommendations of something you should see in their town/city.. And check out the recommended things. Kind of like in this video! 😊

So weird, before I used to hate history, because in school it was a bunch of names & dates. Now that I'm old, I absolutely love to hear about history.

I was born and raised in Holland. Spent my first 45 years there. My family history there, goes back to the 1830's. I've walked everywhere Dan was that day. I'm proud of how they acted and were kind throughout!!

These videos go right round the world ,I am in Wales UK and my grandfather came to America in 1904 and lived mostly in Utica upstate NY and came to fight in France in 1917 ,he came back here in 1922 because his mother was dying and met my grandmother and never went back to America he died in1978 when 84 years old. This is the attitude in this video of what being American and living in a small town should be like , history ,talking to each other,stories the Yorkshire town video showed,paranoia, fear of strangers, keeping it hid in the family, unwilling to converse and find out acting like idiots all things we should not want ,

I am in northern Canada and just love to see the sort of thing you have shown here in this video. Great people and great attitudes. When I have grown used to the opposite from watching news and other information available makes me afraid to visit many areas south of the border. Thanks for what you do.

I walked into a gas station and one of the customers greeted me: I was beyond surprised. When confused trying to take a train to NYC, a local not only helped us get there but provided tickets.

I love the intro man. You found a place so professional that you had to ask if they were trained or if they were just that good ❤

This first woman, ?Jill Dix? was fantastic !! Those photos said 1818. I couldn't imagine being alive back then....just about 30 years after the Revolutionary War. WOW !! The waterfall from the picture compared to today shows how powerful water and time really is. (Well if they were not man made damns ?)

This is a town I would enjoy visiting just because great people in service of the community. Great audit!

The story of the desk is cool. Black Walnut is a hardwood and was heavily over harvested to make furniture. That must have been a huge tree to have enough material foe a desk. W With the high price of hard wood, they create very thin overlay sheets, that are glued to particle board.

The town of Yorkshire is ran by witches and goblins who hate people, Holland is ran by heavenly angels who love their people. It is very odd they are so close together

I tend to think that when they go crazy on the camera guy they are very unhappy with their lives and that creates all kinds of reactions like wanting attention, the drama, the pleasure of calling someone to do what their bruised feelings aspects, then you find the other type like the last ones that are actually friendly and helpful with anyone regardless of cameras or not , they c us all equally, very nice Dan.

Tourist dollars can make a big difference to small communities! I take notes when I see these videos, and when it comes to planning vacations and day trips I will avoid places where it's clear they don't respect the public, or the Constitution.
