Ms. Platts performed the three songs with orchestral accompaniment by the Quebec Symphony Orchestra in November, 2010, and it was broadcast on the CBC network on Sunday, March 6, 2011. The songs sound even better with orchestra, and Susan Platts has a powerful voice which carries over the full orchestra. Unfortunately, the concert is not available on demand at the CBC website.

I sand Handel's Messiah with her in Vancouver at the orphem with the back choir and Van symph. when we were in our 20s. So happy to see her success and vocal development.

Thank you for sharing. How important, how fantastic to document this creative process, especially of artists like those here. What is the name of the composition at 1:05?

@@leerhode1021 if you hear Jessie Norman words. Is very obvious, What I try say. There is technical issues. She mention “modern music”, at least here in Europe when a serious professional mention this. Have a really bad meaning … study. Work out… don’t get upset… I just found weird a production on this size and money invest. When out there have so many others needing or willing such work and inspiration from Miss Norman.
