This was originally a song written specifically for a fundraising campaign… “ _Highasakite made a completely new song for the fundraising campaign for the refugees in Syria._ _The members of the Highasakite group were so upset by the refugee crisis in Syria that they decided to make a completely new song for the fundraising campaign "Help the refugees - give hope"._ ” This performance of the slightly revised final version of the song is quite beautiful. Always nice when Ingrid uses her lovely vibrato. I have to mention this every time now: Highasakite/Ingrid’s version of Billie Eilish’s When the Party’s Over, performed by her and Julie Bergan. ;) Other Highasakite song suggestions… Since Last Wednesday, Leaving No Traces, God Don’t Leave Me (either from P3 or HAIK), Can I Be Forgiven, Hiroshima, Heavenly Father, Mexico, etc.

Great voice, liked it. Although I thought the piano was too loud in the mix, at different stages. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy piano. ❤️🤘🎸🇦🇺

you are addicted, aren't you?? but really, i have to say, that is a beautiful song, nothing to complain about. watching channels like yours really opened my taste in music. i knew highasakite before, when i lived in norway, but i listened to music with less attention and to hear someones thought about certain songs makes one think through it. highly appreciated. but i repeat myself, please more anna and susanne, and i have also some really lovely icelandic artists like GDRN, waiting to be discovered. i can offer to help with translating lyrics, if wanted.

They have an album entitled "mother" to be released on January 28 2022. 4 singles have been released Tell her yourself, keep it alive, love him anyway, and autopsy. I'd love to see what you guys think about their new stuff
