Yep. A 3 hr movie or a mini series. There wasn't 3 seasons worth of story to tell

I thought that this should have ended on a cliffhanger. Like the dome wasn't a means to trap you and more or less to protect you from the outside.

i liked the premises. And was immediately turned off when at the end of season 1, nothing meaningful was explained, or added, or resolved, or progressed, a clear sign they will milk the f out of it. I just searched for the ending, since mystery recap is recently covering it. and jesus, the show obviously didn't get better based on this four cringy to the max minutes. What writer/producer put this together and think it's a passable product.

@@Ines-jj2erandy sanders and Phil bushey got high and whilst fighting off Big Jim’s troops their massive amount of propane exploded inside the dome to a point where it wiped out pretty much everyone inside it (apart from barbie and Julia and a few others), eventually Barbie, Julia and Sam go to the purple light and have visions, in Julia’s vision she begged the child alien to lift the dome (because the dome was there as just a game for these child aliens) and it eventually did so There is no egg, there is no stupid women called Christine or Ava, there is no random girl from the past, there is no damn alternate reality, Sam is not at all related to junior, there is no one called Hunter and I can go on and on

That's because Truman's dome was disguised as the sky, and he was born into that environment, so he never questioned it. These people had a life before the dome...they knew the difference...and they could also see and touch it.

Binged the whole show on a free Amazon prime trial recently, damn did it suck. I was so pissed off about all the things they set up, kept acting like would definitely be important, and then just kinda shoehorned in at the end with zero pay off. @@evgenyb8797 Mhm! Apparently the dome was set there by... "leatherheads". Apparently, the leather heads only did it for fun, like how you would trap ants and bugs inside a cup just for fun. It's pretty disturbing how it's described.

The dome was sent down because a bunch of aliens called "leatherheads" wanted to see how humans lived and acted when separated from the rest of the world. Sort of like an ant farm. The aliens were actually just like curious children
