IN DISPLAY FINGERPRINT SCANNER JUST FEELS LUXURIOUS, BUT PERSONALLY I PREFER SIDE MOUNTED FINGERPRINT SCANNER

I used both, I definitely can say Indisplay fingerprint sensor more stylish and convenient to use.

I have samsung f22 which has side mounted fingerprint,it works fast and its reliable too.I am loving it.

I have a k20 pro it's 3 years old and the optical fingerprint sensor is working fine Haven't had any problems and it looks very premium

if you ask me under display i prefer as it seems easier and for both fingers unlike in side mount cause for one hand you also need to mount your hand considering if phone is also bulky

Why Companies doesn't give normal camera + ultra wide dual front camera ?

under display is best . some may say that using side mounted is convenient cuz you while you turn on the phone you use the power key which unlocks your phone but either ways you ultimately you use the display that's why in display is better . also in display unlocks the phone while the screen is turned off(biggest argument point given by the side mounted ones).

The problem with display sensors is that usually, they are positioned way too low. You have you actively stretch and bend your thumb to get it. But with side mounted? Your hand is already in a natural position to get it without even thinking about it. You pick up your phone and it just automatically unlocks. This works with both hands as well. I have mine set up to use the lower part of my middle and ring fingers as the way I hold the phone usually puts them near the power button. You don't have to think about it

I like side mounted finger print so much. Its very fast and convenient. You just pick up the phone and bam, its unlocked. Under-display in midrange is very slow as it is not ultrasonic. So unless one is using flagship series mobile, side-mounted is best.
