if I need a bigger tool box this is definitely first choice, for now the $348 on sale Husky 27in I recently picked up suits my needs and quality is excellent. My bro has had Husky large tool boxes for 20yrs and just got this one you reviewed and loves them all, great quality. He was a 30+ yr mechanic on the B2 Stealth Bombers and is a gearhead with several street rods, so he knows his stuff.

I have had mine for 3 years now I love it and haven't had any problems with it great tool chest

I managed to get mine for 750. I was so happy when I found the special at home depot 🙏

You and me both. I dont know how I went so many years with my tiny little tool box. This thing holds so much and keeps everything organized. My favorite is the beer bottle opener on the side! Perfect after a hard days work in the garage.

Couple days after Black Friday I picked one up for 398$ at my local Home Depot

How thick is the metal where the casters mount to? Hopefully thicker than the 18 gauge

is it more than say the “base” edition of the box to get the power outlets and the led on top? was looking at the same box on amazon and it didn’t appear to have the led and power strip

I just got this chest. Mine only has one power strip, no LED light on the lid and no wood “table” on that right side drawer - stuff I prefer not to have anyway. I got 10% veterans discount, plus another 10% markdown due to minor ding and scratches (they brought me out one that was on the display floor. I really like it so far. My suggestion would be for this guy to put the screwdrivers in one of the shallower drawers and use the deeper drawer for other stuff. Great video!

There are 2 versions. One like yours which is priced less and the one in the video with all the bells and whistles

I just got this tool box except my problem is I don't have enough tools to fill it! I peeled all the stickers off of it. That thing is heavy AF the home depot workers like didn't even want to help with it because they didn't feel like lifting ha! Also the Gladiator storage cabinets are cool for storing your cans and stuff instead of the open plastic racks check em out...although they are like $200 something compared to the 50$ plastic shelves

So funny, I experience the same thing at Home Depot. The workers seemed like they did not know how to move the tool box or maybe they did not want to hurt themselves. I loaded to tool box onto the flat car myself. But yes it was heavy AF for sure. I will have to look at those shelves your talking about!

I had my brother help me, god it is heavy!

I have had mine for just 2 years and it is in mint shape expt i have noticed the paint is starting to lift and there looks to be rust under it all along the fron and by a couple of the corner joints

Nice tool box. I waiting to see the drawer filled with sockets. I'm assuming you still working on that. You need to go shopping for sockets and ratchets an extensions.

Me an my dad been going to harbor freight tools once a month since last year. We both brought the 5 drawer tool cart and I been filling mine up with harbor freight tools like Pittsburgh tools. Hopefully I will have mine filled up this year

@@robertrollins8506 That is awesome. I have purchase quite a few tools from Harbor Freight. I just bought a 3 ton floor jack from them and a 2 ton engine lift to remove my Rb26 from my Skyline GTR. Nice quality tools for the money. I want to buy their Metric Deep impact socket set next. This will go nice with all my new Milwaukee impact wrenches.

Casters wheels are made of plastic, if you plan on moving this box around a lot I’d recommend upgrading them

I’m trying to decide on this or the Milwaukee 46”.

I have never seen any of the Milwaukee tool boxes. They are probably pretty nice. I have very happy with my Husky so far. I use it all the time. Quality/reliability is spot on and everything works just like new still.

I have not experience any issues with mine at all. I do part install videos at least twice a month on my channel and am constantly adding more tools to this huge box. No issues with rust at all and the surface has not scratch off at all. I love it and its one of my favorite investments in my garage.

Wish they sold the top and bottom separately lol just need the bottom chest

Yes it came with the led light up top right out of the box. Its a great feature. Still loving this tool box and glad I bought it.

Great. I've checked this box at home depot! I really like that but unfortunately no LED installed in Canadian units.

The bottle opener should have been on the front.

@@JDMRightHandDrive just picked me one up. I finally have me a large nice toolbox now. I had a old 26” craftsman and a old husky upper but I never had any issues with the husky roller bearing slides so hopefully these will hold up just as well. I noticed some have the LED light but only two sets of wheels while others have three sea of wheels and No LED light.

As much as I loved it because it looks beautiful I couldn’t get over thinking about greasy finger prints and cleaning it a lot 🤣. If they had black I would’ve went with it. I went with a US General one from HF. Not sure if you’d be interested but there are companies out there that make shadow foam for your specific box.

Was at Home Depot this week. 600 bucks. Sad thing is Harbor Freight is over 1000 for the same size setup. No power strip, light ect. And not built as well.

This isnthe box I'm looking at. I work as a mechanic and refuse to pay 10K plus for a box.

WOW, seriously $2800 dollars now. That is almost same price as Snap On tool boxes. Pretty crazy, must be supply chain shortage related. Glad I got mine for $899 when I did!
