Undefeated: Fightland Specials

Спорт

Aspiring pro boxer Terrance Dumas was a drug dealer, an addict, and a gang leader until he lost everything he had in Hurricane Katrina.
We caught up with “Tank” in Little Rock, Arkansas to witness his daily struggle, as he hopes to improve his life inside and outside of the ring.

Some of the comments here are just ignorant and some are because people just really don't know the sport. A professional heavyweight fighter is a fighter 200 pounds +. Look it up. We sign contracts to fight guys and when Tank show up they literally back out or don't show up. Tank is a fighter and will fight WHOever, WHENever... Therefore if/when the guy who SIGNED A CONTRACT back out, the promoter will and/or should make every attempt to secure him another person to fight. Unfortunately that doesn't always happen and when it did happen Tank had no idea who he will be fighting until sometimes the night of the weigh in. So I write this to EVERYONE who have commented on this post: To those of you who have expressed your support, admiration and compliments, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To those of you who have made negative remarks, comments or whatever you choose to call it, I say this Out of respect for my husband and our family PLEASE KEEP YOUR NEGATIVITY TO YOU

+wendalyn dumas our family has been through a lot and we have overcame even more than that. This documentary is real, it's not what you see on this "reality tv",, it's REAL.. And it's very heartfelt to me. I watch my husband train for fights day in and day out to fight. He is a true fighter in and out the ring. And honestly he doesn't care who he fights, he just loves to fight and does a good job at it. There are a lot of negativity spoken on here, about this guy, that guy hell Tank just wanted to fight. We had supporters that bought tickets and traveled with us on occasion. He got tired of his supporters getting disappointed because the guys he signed to fight (with these called better records)!was the ones backing out. Yeah they were the ones looking for "the bumbs" to fight,, then they find out there's no B in Tank! He never backed or turned down nothing! And again a heavyweight is a fighter that is 200 pounds +! Thanks for those of you who understand and show support!

I haven't been able to find any fight records after 2014 for Terrance Dumas and his fights have been against opponents with the following records. 5-1 (Same kind of opponents) 2-8 1-1 0-0 3-17 0-4 4-10 I'm glad he's doing something he dreamed of but to make him seem like an amazing boxer is just disrespectful. If they're going to focus on amateur-pro boxing, why not make this about someone like Isiah Thomas or Murat Gassiev both of which are undefeated and have a much better track record.
