Meritocracy really fit's. They aren't cruel, they aren't exterminating the galaxy. No, they were given the option to become the best they possibly could be, and they took it. And they do not sit content with genetic perfection. No, they take that perfection and hone it to a razors edge with training so harsh that none but themselves could survive it. And Meritocracy is all about those who are able and willing to go above and beyond others being exatled and reward for the talents and effort. Which is even reflected in how the legion deal with the galaxy at large. Those who are not willing to go above and beyond are less deserving tgan those who are. And the legion is both willing and able, so they reward themselves by taking what they can. Distinguished admiralty would also fit, but this was fun to write.

The scientist in charge of Physics research that disappeared and reappeared shortly after gained the Spark of Genius and Maniacal trait. This makes the scientist in question very powerful. But it only happens to a scientist that is in charge of Physics research. This can even happen to the Mentat from the Curator order, which means that they can increase the speed of any field of research by 30%.

Had this happen to me , had curator scientist in physics I had no idea about the event that comes after finishing science nexus. I hired another curator to replace him and then he came back and i had 2

I think the role-playing of these full-plays is the best part (besides your hilarious tongue-fumbles). Also, you play necromancers (in some form) an awful lot. Such is the mentality of a biologist (at least I think you are one, from past comments. Sorry if I'm wrong).

I feel like Clone Army origin is only actually good way to make spiritualist ascension viable. Admirals have +15% evasion, -35% ship upkeep and 48.5% higher dps just from Ascendant Clone Army Admiral and Psychic traits. That's so brutal you can basicially give up on the Shroud and still do well.

Moding gene and robot for 100 pop is not worth it too. You can also run death cult because of the super high pop growth and you can get yourself lots of good bonus for this.

@@jeromemartel3916 Right, death cult works really well with ancient clone vats. Going for bio ascension is still viable though, especially since you start with 2 t2 techs from society research - too bad it's nothing useful, but still, you can create specialized races that will fill the rest of your plantes instead of going with whatever traits they have. If you do that before hitting 100 clones you can also use ancient clone vats and regular clone vats together to have incredible growth on non-primary species, although I'm not sure if that's intentional or bug.

Stefan here on KZread did a great coverage of the Clone Origins, I won't spoil it. But you should check it out, he does a great job explaining it all, the mechanics, growth and population.

I'm currently playing clone army origin in my MP with my friends. I've come to the conclusion that I _definitely_ need more practice with it in order to play it to its full potential - it seems geared towards early rushes, which is not a play style that comes naturally to me.

I mean.... You could just not rush and instead seem like a badly optimized empire only for you to suddenly pull out several thousand fleet power and smacking your friends with it. Sounds like a fun idea to do.

Catalytic Reprocessing is broken OP at the moment. Aspec did a video on just how nutty it is.

Your clones reclaimed their nature from their creators by going for the clone potential path; I think taking over the Fallen Empire's infrastructure in a similar way would be appropriate. Plus, it does hurt to watch someone throw away FE buildings
