Honestly, Undawn is just a Lifeafter before OpenWorld Update with just different mechanics. I love Lifeafter before, but now it's more on gacha and outfits. "Survival" is not the best way to describe it now, but "Fashion and Zombie" :3

It was fun using that one OP shotgun everyone buys. Game started to lag so much with the highways and vehicle mounts, literally unplayable when bunch of players are in one place.

Its probs because of the engine i guess. But other than that, its very unoptimized af. Also undawn might have chance of better water graphics due to unreal engine 4 water wave update, so its possible it might have water overhaul in the future

Undawn is highly inspired from days gone . Especially the woods and the ambience are kinda similar.

Days Gone is still around but there is another often overlooked connection. Garena Freefire. This is The Garena Free Fire World but Post Apocalypse and No Battle Royale Aspects (Yet)

Life after was the greatest with graphic, but after the update you got to set your own graphic which will change the view of every player. And if you set the graphics high it's gonna lag a lot and tge device is going to be warm as hell. One more thing i don't like is that they broke the basic game, life after was all about the nature now you gotta see highways everywhere which makes it look bad

I really wished both these games were offline with a unique storyline and side missions with driveable cars and vast open world but they made it a trash online game which will only promote gaming addiction. Offline games are where the real fun is. Online is really toxic and unsafe.

ALOT of great games that HAD Singplayer Content could have been Offline compatible or LAN/Private Server based. but today's game companies refuse to lose money and know that holding a Server "Hostage" with no Offline is how a Game lives or dies in a Vicious Cycle and Jungle of Executive Decisions A.K.A. Corporate Greed

I hope u dawn do not do the same mistake like Lifeafter did. 1. Allowing craft highway (which is annoying) 2. Nanoplastic. which made ammo box useless.

In my opinion, I thought life after was a great game last time, but turns out it was a bad experience for me. Garena Undawn was the best experience I ever experienced, best mobile survival game I have ever played.

Ooooh Chimera Land? 😮 The Trees roll around in that game, Like they wont stand still, You chop them and there is some sort of effect where Objects will roll downhill if they were on uneven or sloped terrain when chopped down or killed.

Knew this game looked familiar. I didn’t play Lifeafter too much, but it was a nice game.

Yeeea well, i played both on same device and same internet and Undawn is almost not laggy, LifeAfter - i like the game but the laaaaaagggss everywhere, in Hope 101, in camp, manor, trade city Undawn so smooth, even PvP without lags 8vs8 while LA in Nancy is a lagpocalypse :D

There are some things in LA better, like autotranslate button, chat window (although in Season 1 and 2 the chat was so much better, black, all text visible), now since Season 3 is much worse, Undawn has better campfire party, ball kinda sucks for me in a postapo game, too much "fancy" "prince/princesses/love" stuff in LA

Some of the controls were way better in Undawn. I appreciated the iron sights. But, you learn to use the toilet. Great. Didn't crap for days. I was excited to crap. Never crapped. Well, I think enforcing some more realism in early progression or take out the novelty. Undawn was more user friendly to me, though. LifeAfter runs better with less choke.

Life after was very lagging and choppy for me , doing bosses was a nightmare as everything would freeze and lag out , hopefully UNdawn doesn't have the same issue

Okay I'll say this, Life After will have your character dressing up looking like Mattel Korean Kawaii Ken Dolls. I know because I played Life After. Also everything is "trying" to build a home in some district, over maybe being nomadic and doing survival camps.

In undawn you can imitate your own face as character in the game

Life after was such a cool and nice game. Loved everything. Game play, weapons, crafting system, drone ecc... Then they started with motorcycle, many other stuff that can improve your character DMG so the game became a pay to win and lost any taste. So sad.

Life After has not aged well, and has lost its playerbase due to focusing excessively on In-app Purchases. Agressive Micro-Tranactions Hurt/Divide any games community. its like Separating Rich from Poor and reminding each person of their social status and circle.

Life after is good game.. after the massive update i can barely enjoy it i have to lower down all my settings.. although it still a good game.. its very f2p when your just there to chillax build a home. Sell guds and get rich etc thingy. I'm no competing pvp type but i hear they say its p2w..

Life after was good in the beginning, then the grinding is hard, and super repetitive

For me i think Life after is for low/mid end device while undawn is for High end device. But you can still play undawn with a mid end device, there's still some lag spikes. Even with the lowest graphics possible.

Both games are high-end. Life after used to support low end back in 2018 like phones like Samsung Galaxy j7 pro and it runs smoothly but after update it became leggy end leggy and now it's unplayable with 3 to 4 fps

😅 I think they wanted to compare Reload Mechanics, Damage Output, How each weapon differs in appearance and performance but it just overall doesn't stick. Life After has Weapons Undawn does not yet have. Undawn has very few weapons currently and from its selection different Tiers or Levels of the same Weaponry. The Shooting barrel part? that I think they wanted to just compare Environmental Hazards/Objects and Bullet Holes. Undawn surprisingly hides a few well placed objects you can use to kill waves of enemies or slow them down. Most of which are Explosive Oil Drum Barrels or the one time only per use Exploration Objective Supply Crate Nets. Life After has such things only during certain Missions or story segments.

I would personally appreciate if Undawn had its own version of the Hunting Rifle Life After starts us off with. For Beginner Weapons however Undawn gives you Fair and Easy access to Firearms vs Life After's grind and leveling.

I use to like Life after but it lost taste after the roads and it was more difficult to build and obtain resources plus graphics quality depending on what you have was mid to low for me. I think it's accurate to say Undawn has proven itself better because ive reached level 54 with hardly any effort and my home level 7 after realizing I don't need to pay anything to level up my home even though the option is there and you can get gold by selling rare metels. Level Infinite has made it easier to obtain resources and important materials unlike Life After both are different visually and Undawn on my phone plays at higher graphics than Life After. I choose Undawn over 100% of games like that because all I have is mobile and my phone plays it extremely well. Undawn is definitely better.

They messed up lifeafter with the never ending events and so much buttons to press and windows to navigate

undawn so far has less to no glitch or bug when i am played. it is a good news i think consider it is a new game. not like their rival which evend routine update still has it 😂

lifeafter is the best mobile game I've ever played

Life after control is very hard

I'm gonna say my side on lifeAfter for playing it for 5 years... season 1 till season 2 was good enough, up until they put up craftable highways and made the whole game P2W on season 3 and added that open world which caused players to have lag issues (this includes boss raids, servers getting full packed everyday), they didn't even put an effort to fix those bugs up until season 4 where you can make your character a semi mutant which is a big disadvantage for normal characters when it comes to PVP, on season 5 they made the open world a bit larger with a mutant seas and higher graphics which made players quit due to the size of the game. I'm hoping Undawn would not make the same mistake on the future updates and patches that they will do. No hate, just basing on my experience as a former player on LifeAfter :>
