That's old time Fighting Sioux hockey. When the announcer said Denver are worried because the Sioux were only down by two I chuckled

I went to a game there a few years ago and it was the same. The DU fans say they love when ND comes to town because then the arena actually gets filled.

It’s the same with UMD. More Gopher fans in Duluth than there are Bulldog fans. UND fills up Amsoil too. Crazy that DU doesn’t have a better following, they’re one of the best hockey programs ever.

@@luckyluciano6552 that makes more sense with UMD + Gopher fans since Duluth is quite a bit smaller...but Denver has no excuse being the bigger city (and technically they've even won more championships than UND as well)...to have more fans than a school thousands of miles away 😳

Of course not! Grand forks was next to the - and beside the ABC logo while they’re under WDAZ 8 after Milo smith and Jane Joyce meet pat Sweeney on the WDAZ closing @ 6:29 pm rerunning on ABC in 2000!
