This clip is a perfect representation of how AEW is becoming the best promotion, despite that I’m writing this in 2023. It’s grown so much and introduced new incredible names and brought back absolute legends. It’s like Tony Kahn is playing with wresting action figures, taking all the best, classic icons, and discovering new hidden gems, and creating a dream like wrestling world that’s voiced by JR and Schiavone, and it’s all actually happening in real life. It’s awesome. Something myself and probably a lot of other never thought they’d see in the world of wrestling again.

Sting has a tremendous youthful quality still for a guy that is 61 years old. He can't go like he did in the ring like he did in 1990 or 2000, but he doesn't seem OLD and WORN like other legends did at the same time.

Admittedly, it has to be partly because, at least to my knowledge, he took care of himself and didn’t indulge too much in drugs or alcohol like many of the other stars of same said era.
The best part of this segment was Sting saying "There is something REALLY familiar about this place" while pointing at Darby Allin.
Sting is looking absolutely amazing for his age and looks like he can go at it anytime, I don't care if people say "he's too old", if he feels comfortable wrestling let the man wrestle. He's the one entertaining you after all 😀😀

Reuniting between Sting and Tony was a very special moment ❤️
I can't stop ,,watching this video again & again
Back on TNT for the first time in 19 years. It’s great to see the stinger, one of the greatest of all time.
Sting is still great on the mic at 61. His mic skills are very underrated
You can hear and see the joy in Sting's eyes and his voice that he's happy to see some of his old friends again and to be back in the squared circle once again. This segment here plus his debut last week were great
Arn Anderson, Tony Schiavone, Sting, and a son of Dusty Rhodes in the same ring made me feel like a child watching wrestling again. My gosh, now all this time later and re-watching this video I can still get that sense of staying up to see what happens next. Thank you AEW for making wrestling special to me again.
The Sting and Darby vignettes are going to be god tier
This really feels like the Sting of old, he's here for something and he's going to get It.
Sting reuniting with Schiavone great moment
I grew up as a little kid watching NWA back in the 80's before it became WCW , and Sting was just a rookie at the time. It did not take long at all for him to be over with the fans. His feuds with Rick Flair, Vader ,and Nikita Kollof are amazing. He still looks amazing , and still has that fire he did over thirty years ago. I will never forget when Sting won his first World title back in 1990 on WCW's The Great American Bash against Rick Flair.
I love Cody's pride being hurt because he got out-Alpha Male'd.

Storywise maybe but you can see real Cody geeking out because Sting is Cody’s favorite wrestler growing up
Man they’re making Darby a literal star. The Stinger and Darby fued? Later fued with Cody? Good lord it’s a great time to a be a wrestling fan.

@@jonpoon3896 Cody *was* always heeling it up when he was TNT Champion, so you may be on to something. Like Cody develops beef with Sting because he doesn't like being so upstaged on own snow, and that Sting likes Darby more than him, so he takes it out on Darby to get the belt back and re-establish that "this his HIS kingdom", as his theme song says.

This is like my 5th time coming back to watch this.... I'm 40 years old, but once upon a time I was one of them little Stingers with my face painted up in the audience.....Legend!!!...... my dad broke his neck to make sure we would always get seats when they would come to Michigan....miss those days!...but to see this is bitter sweet
Man oh man, it looks like Sting hasn't lost a step after all this time, and he genuinely looks like he's happy to be there! Hell, Cody couldn't keep that smile off his face when Sting hugged him, and you could tell Tony Schiavone was legit happy. This just warms the heart.
Sting is a top 10 wrestler/icon in my opinion.

In retrospect after Sting being in AEW for closing in on almost a year now I have to say that he has probably been one of the most valuable signings they’ve ever made. I loved Darby before Sting came along. Lots of us did but there’s no way anyone can say that when Sting returned and walked up to Darby you weren’t like “holy shit is this happening right now?” AEW have used him perfectly. Minimal matches and helping younger talent get over whether it’s him managing Darby Allin or just simply making someone feel bigger by association he’s been nothing but an asset to them. Also I just love seeing Sting still and more importantly I love seeing Sting actually happy where he is.
When Sting gave Tony a hug. I became a kid again 😢
That hug made this whole year worth it
