The loss he has suffered is immense, and not only was he able to give a dignified and respectful response, he managed to show untold amounts of empathy. Calling for people not to harass the Fucci family, and to express empathy with the grandmother, and to also shed light on the tragic murder of Ayanna Belton, which I only know about from Bailey mentioning her, to thanking local journalists. Majority of adolescents aren't stabbing no where near that degree. So I hope it hits him. He lost his privileges due to his own choices. She didn't. So hope it hurts when a bigger person gets him. It's true that the murderers brains weren't fully developed; the area in the brains that fully understands the consequences of one's doings is fully developed at about 23-25yearsof age. BUT, at his age he fully understands what death is, he knows you don't come back once you die. He also understands that stabbing a person over one hundred times leads to death. What he didn't understand at his young age, was what would happen to HIM afterwards. The consecuences of his evil act. Well Aiden, NOW you have been enlightened of the consequences. NOW you know what happens to a person after he murders a child, or any given person.

It saddens me that at the time of the murder, Aiden was only 14 yet had such evil inside him. It just doesn't make sense for ANYONE to have that much evil inside them that they could commit such a heinous crime. Something went wrong with that kid and no one seems to know a thing in his family. There's usually signs that your kid is not acting like themselves or somethings off. Why couldn't his mother see this? Why couldnt his dad? For Christ sakes he had knives named "picker" and "poker" and not one of his family members knew of this either? Who was even taking care of this kid? Truly mind boggling. Rest in heaven, Tristyn. You'll forever be young and beautiful. This world will never forget you.

This is what Justice looks like. So much respect for them all and I can only wish for so many that have faced similar tragedies with the same respect and urgency. It was well said. 👏🏻Humanity at its finest. Being someone who has lost many people and watched my own family lose friends and family members in the same horrible way, I am glad to see them get justice for there daughter and respect to the justice system/media for coming together like they did and showing compassion to them.

This statement and his gratitude to all deserving of it: words to the media, families, and other relevant entities, his candor- amongst other qualities- are exceptionally noteworthy, and surpassed any that I've seen. Thank you Mr. Bailey! To you and your family, sorry for your loss!😢❤

Agreed- the whole family is extraordinary! The impact statements their other children wrote were amazing- very powerful- in a situation where it would be impossible for one to express the impact of such a crime and such a loss- they did and in doing so you definitely also felt a lot of their parents pain! Every one of them are very special no doubt they have been blessed with genuinely wise loving strong parents. Forest Bailey being the man that he is and knowing his wife is obviously just as special- will be the sole reason this tragedy isn't going to destroy neither theirs or the other children's lives. This family will continue on to spread more goodness where it is needed so much in this cruel world. And tho it may take some time- they will be able to have truly happy lives again! May God continue to Grace them! Which is exactly what Tristan would want.

I see how and why the Bailey family is so close and so strong. A wonderful man and father. To acknowledge the grandmother in her grief, took a big man. I am so proud of this father for stepping out of his own horrific grief to caution us as parents and our children of the dangers of bad choices. His beautiful daughters life was taken senselessly because of a decision to leave the safe haven created by a loving caring family and lured her into a dark and dangerous citation that robbed her of her beautiful life and changed the life of so many that loved her. While it will not change their circumstances I believe that it will save lives. Thank u so so much for your courage and strength.
