Uncut FULL VERSION of "There's only one Zlatan" interview
Спорт
Rare footage of the full original "There's only one Zlatan" Zlatan Ibrahimovic interview after his last game for Ajax in 2003.
The now 41 year old AC Milan striker scored his famous solo goal against NAC Breda in his last match for Ajax, one week before he joined Juventus. After the match Dutch journalist Joep Schreuder wanted to ask him about his tackle which injured his teammate Rafael van der Vaart in the match Netherlands against Sweden. Zlatan didn't want to talk about it.

There is an idea of a Zlatan. Some kind of abstraction, but there is no other things, just the one Zlatan, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can talk only about the game and see me play normal today, and maybe you can even sense how I played Holland is comparable, I simply am not angry.

I loved that Ajax team Zlatan played on. Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Chivu and Zlatan. Then you had guys like de Jong, Heitinga, Maxwell, Pienaar and Mido. They were a team of kids but when you saw them play you knew they were all going to have great careers. Some did some failed to reach what they could have been. Van der Vaart was the king of that team. He was supposed to go on to become one of the all time greats but injuries got him. He was so good that when him and Zlatan got in a fight, Zlatan was shown the door.

@@mucktown I'd say Sneijder was more successful, the only person that won the treble from this list. Maxwell played for Inter when Barca won the treble, and went to Barca next year and Inter won the treble 😂 So he was slightly unlucky. Edit: Just realised Chivu also won the treble but I think Sneijder was the clutch factor for that Inter team.

Nah, not the asshole, you have to remember at that point he was basically kicked out of Ajax just because he tackled Van Der Vaart in the international game, and it was really a playing moment, he didn't do it intentionally, he was positioning to shoot and accidentally made a terrible tackle, why would he foul him intentionally just outside the opposition box when he had the ball... I think he was actually pretty composed and polite considering unfairness he faced, the Dutch media crucified him and Ajax basically threatened Juventus saying if you don't take him before the deadline we'll never sell him to you. That because VDV was a big shot talent back then and he said its me or him. He was treated terribly by Ajax but he never badmouthed them, even here he says he wants to stay.

Later it became a bit of an act, her it’s still real. Zlatanism. The thing about Zlatan was that he was intelligent enough not to believe all of his own BS.
That Interviewer was a trained narcissist, his goal was to get a negative reaction out of the celebrity so they can point the finger at him. Zlatan knows that and chose to stay positive.
It keeps a strange guy. He is a great player at the end. But in his Ajax time it was quite a problem guy.
