Hi Ian and Louise, we've had a bit of a mad week but finally I managed to settle down and watch this video with the kids earlier and we all loved it. It was great when you turned up that Alex Parsons just like ours from our last video and funnily enough we've recently found a couple of those diamond tiles, along with some earthy coloured square and rectangular ones, which I'm sure will have came from someone's Victorian or Edwardian hallway. Ada's favourite find was the little red heart button while Finn loved the lead cow. I believe your next video is premiering as I type so we'll try and check that out tomorrow - I've sneaked a look at the title and saw the word Silver so I'm very excited to see what you turned up! Hope you're both well.

Ian, the figure you found is wonderful! Could it be Gene Kelly from the movie "Singing in the Rain"? That's what it reminds me of. Love, love, love the gas fixture Louise found, it cleaned up lovely! Maybe combine that with the diamond tile for a collage type art? The marble corbel...I have one in my garden, they're hefty to say the least and add so much. Thank you both for another great video! What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef! This looks like more fun than an Easter egg hunt! Always a joy to see you two digging through old trash and having fun while doing so. I loved the little robin visiting, aren't they supposed to be good luck! Let's hope that if you find the jacket those buttons belong to that it doesn't include the previous owner! Yay, I just got home from work and sat down to find some of my favorite mudlarkers!! Louise, you have such beautiful hands and nails! You really found some cool things. The gas lamp piece is really beautiful all cleaned up. I love the little blue glass insert, I'd have to use it for a shot glass. 😊 I also like the little figurine, he's a cutie! Hello I've had a look but can't see anything but it might of shown up on the camera better.

I think the cobalt blue piece is an insert. Could have had a silver filigree surround. The lenses look like goggles.

We did say in the round Up definitely gas mask lenses and yes your right also it was a liner for salt or pepper or mustard I think

The brick mold shape is a Corbel it holds up structure in Hallways in Victorian Terrace houses or could be used to hold up a shelf on a fire surround..

Not a crak pipe, that would be for chemistry, or physics, I never used one, don't remember what they are called, maybe for distilling, put it over a bunsen burner, with liquid of some sort and a chemical reaction would happen. Super find. Very old??? BONKERS ❤❤❤❤

First of all, I don’t see why you have to diet, you look skinny to me. Also, I was wondering if the little figure with the umbrella would have been to a train set, where they set them up to look like a real place and have the little people. It would be an early one I would think. I think they used to be metal and maybe this was a cheaper version for toy train enthusiast’s to buy. Not sure, just a guess. Fun video as always.
