I have always been curious about these fish as they look so different, then recently I found out they belong to the seahorse family! Amazing and also sheds some light as seahorse fathers are brilliant with the babies. Very cool fish x

What size of aquarium do I need to house a single male ?.. and how many females would be appropriate along with him?

About 24L you can't keep a male and females together. He will kill all other fish in a tank so he will live on his own females can be kept together with other fish

Haha seems very much like keeping bettas. I have kept a few of these some years ago but i never got them breeding. And its not so nice they commonly host parasites. Does anyone know if they breed in room temerature?
I want to try breeding these they are so interesting
