I just open the console and look down to see the channel and so far no heat issues.

Good video. I am surprised the cig plug worked. In my 2005 I could not get a 40 watt midland to work. Kept popping fuses. I have a 2022 f 250 now I need to wire this weekend. Thats how I found your video looking for ways to run wires. I have the same antenna also. Do you still like it?

I do like it, a lot actually! The range isn't the best with it but I have taller one that I use if I am in need of farther ranges.

looks like it's a 20amp fuse on the 2018, should be good for ~208w (13v x 16 amps) safely.

How well. Does that antenna work ?

It works very well, just doesn’t have the range that taller antennas do.

I am looking at your video I see the light but what is the other thing that’s to the left of the main light is that a side mounted light? And do you have the link for that as well?

Yes those are the Baja designs - amzn.to/3OeWwIX - I use those to light up the side of the truck area.😎

@@johnnylococo4454 So the brackets come with actual lights, I used the side mounting screw for the larger lights and mounted the smaller horizontal lights with that screw

at 2:08 is where the opening is, its actually about a 4" diameter hole with a grommet in it, if you look closely i just pushed in the grommet enough to be able to send the the wire through, it made it nice and easy to pull the grommet back into the hole after I was done.
