You guys weren't uncoordinated. You didn't know the moves like the others did and you didn't have their level of skill, but you definitely had coordination and even grace in some moves!

I’m 53 and starting taking a pre pointe and ballet class in the past year. I have to say I am the most uncoordinated person in the class. I sick at across the floor exercises and choreography. If you want to laugh come to my classes when I’m clomping around like a bull in a China shop. 😂🤣

are you sure those girls are training to be professionals? it will be a lot harder for a lot of them if not impossible to become a professional ballet dancer with a body that doesn’t meet the standard ballerina physique. i’m not saying this to be offensive, i think theyre all beautiful and splendid dancers. its just the reality of the ballet world.

we all know the reality of the ballet world. as a dancer in this class, i can tell you that we all have different goals. none of those goals are dependent on our body type.

that’s true to become a professional dancer and get into any company you have to have almost the perfect body and technique. I train 5 hours a day all week and I’m a stick, but I still my never become a professional because there are so many girls that are forced into all of their positions from the age of two and train 10 hours a day, and it’s impossible to beat that with having ANY life outside of dance. I’m proud of the girls that did the video for trying so hard and acknowledging that ballet is such a serious sport, but compared to most dancers. Those girls are not technically strong enough to make a career out of ballet.

Yea, ballet isn't easy, at least you tried. But these other girls in the class.. Umm... I'm not trying to be rude, but most of them don't meet the physical requirements of the professional ballet world.

actually we do! the ballet world has changed! so many of us in this class have gone through body insecurities, and are now healthy. i’m disappointed that people still seem to hold onto antiquated ways of thinking. maybe you’d like to try class with us sometime?
