Unconventional journalists: Wolfe, Kanafani and García Márquez | The Listening Post
This week, we are veering out of the mainstream and looking at journalism that broke the rules, pushed boundaries and, in some cases, redefined them.
The Listening Post producers Marcela Pizarro and Tariq Nafi explore the work and the legacy of three such innovators: Tom Wolfe, Ghassan Kanafani and Gabriel García Márquez. Their journalism defied convention and categorisation and continues to inspire people to consider new ways of presenting stories.

Sir kanafani pure respect and love💜🇲🇦
Ghassan Kanafani 🦉 All of Palestine and Palestinians are “a liberation movement fighting for its rights”
and now millions more people aware and recognized the struggles. If he still lives today, he would smile over the thing called TikTok being used as sarcasm againts the occupier. And how Palestinian become stronger and more resilience every time.
Sir Kanafani is amazing!
The Arab diaspora has a great deal to learn from the late mr ghanafani
