Nice job, the driftwood at 6:15 would make a nice piece for an aquarium or terrarium!
The first culverts are cut that way / angle is so big logs can roll up and over instead of landing in front making a log jam.

The snake looks like it's what's known as a plain bellied water snake. Not that I would still want to play with them

Could also be a kingsnake
Kingsnake so called because of there diet, which is mainly other snakes
