UNCLOGGING CULVERTS WITH DEBRIS! 07/2024

FAQs/Why would they do that?! Answers
We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver dam is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.
10. We hope that you enjoy our videos and will keep coming back for more! Any other questions you have feel free to ask in the comments.

I am envious of the fantastic relationship of mother and daughter, thanks for entertaining us all. Great work ladies and pup.
Your 4 legged supervisor is so cute and adorable. Great job ladies
In the ring we have Rocky in one corner and Jen in the other corner…..no contest….hands down Jen wins!!!!
Another great video! I really enjoyed that. And I always love it when your mom shows the 'pretty flowers'. About that huge tree/roots, I had the same thought as you did, Jen. A nice decoration for the garden hahaha. 😊
You ladies ROCK!……..Get it. LOL. Always nice to see your videos.
Thanks for the video ladies! It’s just what I needed as I’ve been pounded by Beryl all morning! The eye went right over my city. 😅

@@deanna5990 I live in Houston the west side. Since so many people are still without power, I was lucky it came back on before I had to empty my refrigerator. I live in a townhouse so I have another unit on each end, but nothing above of below. The wind didn’t seem so bad here and not flooding. I always enjoy these videos to relax. I think it is the running water and then watching them do the job.
You are a good team salute you both.pls forgive my broken English.
The landscape are beautiful. You are lucky to have Lucie. I have been watching your videos since quite while and they are very interesting. From Québec have a nice day.
Dear Lucy, my name is Pete. I’m an 85 pound Pitt bull and I have brown and white spots too. I think you’re cute.

We're okay, sweating bullets in this extreme heat wave, yuck! I have our fans going 24/7. Be well and keep making happy memories together.
Love seeing Lucy tag along as inspector! Lol
I've had a thought and have doing some research. Kim has a contuing problem with shadows while filming. I see Amazon has some wrist sundials. Never too early to start thinking about Christmas....😊
Love Lucy too. (from uk)
I am a flood warden in the uk, and unclog ditches culvert's and Grips, but nothing as spectacular as the the one's you two unclog...
Awesome job again, thanks for the video, watching from Alaska
Post 10 talks about how erosion when water starts flowing around and under a culvert and causes a collapse. That bridge at about 31:00 is a perfect example of what he is talking about.
Another job well done Ladies ❤ 😊
Aloha from Oahu, Hawaii Love watching your videos
From this day forward you will be known as the Dam Busters 👌
Lucy approved culvert cleaning ! Nice job ladies well done! Thanks for sharing !!
Holy b,Jesus Kim is an Amazon woman, Jens the stonemason. I can’t believe you both did that.😊😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉❤❤. Get well soon Kim.

Hello there! Lol…I think Lucy’s taking over your fan club. Jennifer, when you were by yourself at that bridge and you seemed to freeze for a few seconds, my heart started racing thinking you saw a S….My phobia is getting worse it seems. Very interesting video footage… Very hot here and only outside in the early morning. Can’t imagine how hot it is for you! Take care….👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Lucy is just happy to be out and about with her people. Excellent work on the big culvert and getting that rock! We’re just sitting here waiting for the remnants of Beryl. Whatever is left of the storm should arrive by July 9th or 10th. I hope your back is better Kim and thank you both for another great video! 😎🇨🇦😎
Great job ladies! Watch your backs!
🎉
I love Ms Lucy. Love the way she watches over you guys. Best dog ever.
Well done!!!! That big rock was HUGE. You really are marvellous and I do enjoy watching you
You are soooo fortunate to live in or near such a beautiful area of country. Thank you very much for sharing your obvious pleasure in your superb surroundings. 🏞️🏞️🏞️
Another great job. That large rock was so cool.
I'm watching you from Japan. I'll continue to enjoy your videos. It was an extremely hot day, being over 35 degrees all around Japan. Take care and good luck with your work.
That’s a Snowy Egret.
😊❤😊 great job 🎉
You guys find some pretty places to go
Die Aktion mit dem Stein war der Wahnsinn! Das Ihr das geschafft habt - SUPER!!!
OMG I love Jens way of clearing the top of the culvert to make sure no snakes....lol Quick and simple...
Very good job .
Aloha 🌺 Jen, Kim & Ms. Lucy! Can't believe you actually got the huge rock out!!!! Ladies please be careful. Amazing video! Thank you! 🌺💐💖
Just love miss lucy 😊 Thank you Ladies for your time and effort on creating and sharing the videos.
I'd make a table out of it for BBQs and family get togethers
Next time you come out here ( 8:28 ), bring an actual hoe. A hoe can clear a path through that gravel in no time (or a shovel, if you have the space). Ofc, that is, if you have one. Don’t underestimate the power of old tools that still get used today. They last for good reasons. Love all that you guys do for the water, and thanks for sharing :)
Great job as always!
I have degenerative disc disease in my lumbar spine along with arthritis, so I kind of cringe when I see heavy stuff being moved. Time for some prybars or crowbars to leverage the weight.
nice big rock moved. hope Kim's back ok soon
Hi yet another brilliant video keep it up ladies you are awesome
I was waiting for a new video. you guys ROCK!
You have some beautiful scenery there.
Pretty as a picture!
I am afraid you have lots of rain headed your way. Glad you do this
You two women do a wonderful service in your community. It's a pity there isn't more community minded people like yourselves around. Keep up the GOOD work. From New Zealand.
Another three jobs well done ladies ❤ 😊
Lucy wants to be the producer. I'm a little jealous. Makes me think about my daughter and I when we would go on day adventures like crystal digging in Arkansas. We would love the things you are doing around the water, but not the snakes. NW Louisiana here.
❤
Well it’s now 10:30pm Melbourne time. It’s winter season and it’s cold here. I am used to this but as I get older it’s harder to go out, I so want to head a little North and go inland a bit for the dryer weather, but not viable as I just had a hernia op. And Doc would not be happy. But my bro is going to go with me and I will look forward to company. Aside from the culverts as you call them, we call them drainage pipes. I will be more vigilant as we travel. Take care you two and enjoy life.
Lovely hair Jennifer ❤ suits you well very nice choice of colour and me being English I spell Colour correctly 😂😂😂😂😂❤ It looks a Beautiful copper in the Sun.
You all don't need to be running no chainsaw. It's dangerous enough to run one on dry land with firm footing. I get nervous seeing that little battery one but you seem to keep the other hand back enough for it. Stay safe out there.
Hey Jen, have you been looking after yourself more? You are looking good in this set of videos. Cheers.

I'm a few videos behind; I went into Algonquin Park, Ontario, Canada for a few days and had no internet. What's the bird called at the beginning of the video? We probably have the same species here in Canada but not the same variety.
We have blue herons around us don't see them often.

14:33 Jen, may I ask why you don't lay them big logs not under that bridge, in the right direction, ready for the next big storm so that it gets swept away instead of placing the logs on the banks? Is there a reason why you place them on the banks? Do they get picked up, or what happens to them? Absolute curiosity on my part 😊 I guess that I would not place them on those banks. It saves time, and my back by not schlepping them left and right but just turn them the way they need to go.. And not just in that situation but by all you come across and are alike this one.. Unless there is a certain reason, of course 😀
I love you ladies,BUT Lucy!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Jennifer would it be easier just to let it go down the river and save thrown it up onto the hill that’s how you can hurt yourself and we don’t want that

I often wonder about tools they commonly use, but not in an obvious situation. I suspect it comes down to personal preferences or what will have better "production" value. There may be reasons to work smarter, nor harder.
Jen, how much weight have you lost??
