Godwin reminds me SO MUCH of my dad who passed away 6 years ago. Bright blue eyes, quiet, just listens and observes, and when he does speak it's either profound, or absolutely hysterical❤

I don’t even know your Dad, yet he sounds like such a gem. My dad died a few years ago, I have no feelings for him. He was a horrible person. The world is a better place without him. When I go to Heaven, I’ll look for your Dad. Be Blessed.

Godwin said not that long ago that he's doing well with his diabetes and that although he misses eating a lot of foods, he doesn't really crave them as he once did. He said that you just got to put your mind to it and it will be alright. Paula has found as well as makes, diabetes friendly desserts that he enjoys. Godwin did mention though that on mother's day, there was one dessert that he had for Paula that he loves and would have loved to have a piece.

America The Beautiful would be a wonderful song at the super bowl. It's a very good inspirational song. Enjoyed being able to see Alen on the show. So much fun to watch and thanks.

My stepfather was born and raised in Monterey, Mexico and he had my mother make a red and a green chili. He had them daily with his dinner. Not a “New Mexico” thing.

My Grandpa was a Mt. Rushmore Grandpa as well. He just passed away recently. He was a VERY interesting man with a truly remarkable life. But he was a formidable figure for little grandkids.

Omg we live in California and my grandma had friends and family in NEw Mexico Las cruses and would bring bags of New Mexico green chilis so goooooooood.

I noticed that too. Everyone on this podcast has valuable input & I enjoy all of the rotating supporting players ~ all God-fearing, wonderful men. That said, the reason this podcast gained traction & such a following is largely due to the unpredictability of Uncle Si & his stories. Uncle Si is beloved; that's no threat to the rest of the cast. We nearly lost him a few years back & during his absence the podcasts were like wakes. Jesus 1st & you'll all be fine. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY

I'm going to WFR and Log town on July 2nd. I pray Phils preaching is directly from God and my alcoholic Muslim sons heart changes towards Christ. He says he wants to hear Phil and Jace speak so I'm praying hard tht something they say sparks him to want to give his Life to Jesus. He has been listening to Duck Dynasty for the past 2 weeks religiously. Jace is strong in preaching also.....May the Lord use Jace also so my son starts to turn to Christ.

I was the feared babysitter of my preachers children. If the the youngest two misbehaved in church . The church members would say “you need to get young so n so to stop walking on the pew”. I would smile because the parents were ignoring the lil stinkers .All I needed to was shake my head no. They knew the look meant behave or else pay the price. No means no and you know. BETTER.

Yeah, I know I'm gonna get a lot of hate, but there's sometimes where Uncle Si just should be quiet. He thinks that podcast runs because he's there he's sadly confused. Martin Godwin Stone and John David keep that thing going if it was just Uncle Si it would have been off the air a long time ago. Don't get me wrong, I love Uncle Si, but he's out grown is britches.
