Hey Blake awesome video as usual. I recently purchased the new SSK003J1 blueberry GMT watch . These new GMT watches have a much improved Seiko stock bracelet with solid links and solid endlinks as well. The clasp is the only part of the bracelet that to me is lacking . It’s a dual deployment with a Saftey fold over but I ordered a stock Seiko Marine Master clasp and added to the stock bracelet. It really adds a super quality feeling to the stock bracelet which again is much improved over the old stock bracelet for the original SKX.

Hey Joseph, THANK YOU for the kind words. I love those SSKs (great choice) my buddy has the blue 003 one. The bracelet is NICE. If I was going to upgrade the clasp I’d look at strapcode they have some nice buckles there!

Great review. I love the z199 on my 63MAS. Unfortunately, the smooth endlinks on the SKX versions seem a bit odd to me.

It does (a little) but I still love it. Really well made.

Which bracelet would you say is more comfortable? I currently have the skx jubliee and it’s the most comfortable bracelet I’ve ever worn. I’ve heard a lot of praise for the z199 style bracelet but I’m not sure if it matches the same comfort level of the skx jubliee.

The original. BUT the z199 is more secure feeling and very comfortable. I keep it on my SKX 70% of the time

Does the Jubilee stretch out quickly?

I like polished middle links too.. I would 100% buy Z199 straps for my 5 sports if they were polished in the middle. Come on Larry..

Some people love the rattle (I am one of those people) but this one doesn't.

I think the watch forums like Watchuseek is a great place to start
