just bought a OD green GL831 for my SRPE05 and it's a huge upgrade from the oem strap for all the reasons you illustrate

I have this strap on my 777 and I love it. Pretty much this or the BOR bracelet 99% of the time from here on out. I have several other rubber straps of his, but this is my favorite. Z199 arrived tonight. I got extra turtle end links but it will probably live on my pepsi skx.

Love Larry’s straps and bracelets! I have couple of tropic and waffle and couple of 6139 bracelets. And still feel I don t have enough :)

I have both the Tropic and the Waffle from Uncle Seiko. Both are great. Highly recommended. Cheers.

Out of the 2 which do you prefer?

I just got two of his straps myself, the GL831 and Chocolate Bar. I installed the GL831 on the golden tuna reissue and the choc bar on the SRP775. I must say they both strike the perfect balance between price, manufacturing quality and comfort. Swapped the buckle on the GL831 with the golden tuna's standard golden buckle and I'm golden!

I finally got the GL831 today after hearing guys rave about it, and it's just extremely uncomfortable. Not sure what I'm missing. That said, I do have Larry's chocolate bar strap, and that thing is killer.

Nato G-10 straps all the way 😉 Perfect for a Seiko diver.

just bought some straps from UncleS, they are great.

I like Seiko’s new rubber straps, that metal loop does move around though.

Uncle Seiko rules! Santa is bringing me a short Z199 picker and I can't wait. I want to know how this rubber compares to a Z22 straight vent; the old boil to fit strap? That's what it's modeled after, anyway. Not the squishy silicone with crappy metal keeper or oem 007 wave vent. OM FTW, Rob.

I put the 22mm waffle on my Pepsi skx. Takes a bit to break in. Gives it a worthy, classic look.

Tried the waffle on a skx not supportive enough works better on the turtle, this one looks good for a skx. Agree on those turtle buckles and keeper just to large

How does the Uncle Seiko material compare to the Seiko wave vent strap you showed in the video? I have a real Seiko flat vent strap and wish the material was a bit softer.

Got a beads of rice for my skx013 incoming tomorrow after wrestling with customs, still waiting for the watch too!

Looks exactly like the original Seiko DAL1BP. I'm wearing a original on my 7548 now. Interesting.

Great video! I have been looking to get diver strap for my skx013. Problem is I got very small wrist 5.75''inch. will this strap be ok fit on me without excess strap sticking out when wearing the watch? It's almost impossible to find any diver style straps to fit small wrist !

flat top vented straps are the best, never was a fan of the accordion wave type

I hate that stock Seiko silicone strap. Put me off rubber completely until I discovered aftermarket waffles etc.

The OEM keeper doesn’t keep the tail in place, no matter where you put it.
