That type of curry is mostly found in South East Asia, not India. Indian curry deals with less meat and more vegetables while the texture's closest resemblance is tikka masala in India. Burma (Myanmar), Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia all have this type of curry.

1k milestone achieved. Congratulations 🎊🎊🎊 About Malaysian curry. The Malaysian curry actually got a big difference than Indian curry. The main difference is Malaysian curry use ingredients such as galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, pandan, coconut milk which doesn't really use in the Indian curry. As for the taste Malaysian curry are more fragrance.

I'm a retired chef, actually there's plenty of western dishes that serve raw eggss. Steak tartare, emulsifying agent for sauces such as hollandaise or mayonnaise and see we use raw eggs in dessert too such as tiramisu. Regarding the Japanese curry you're right about its influenced by Indian but I don't think you got that recipe from the Brits. UK had one of the largest Indian population because India was under their colonisation, their curry is almost as authentic as Indian curry. I know for sure Indian does not use Roux to thicken their curries 😋 You must have learnt it from the French 😂and Japanese curry is so mild, its like a watered down version of the real one. An ex Japanese colleague of mine told me Japanese hates bold flavours hence they altered the recipe because real curries would be too overwhelming for their palate.

For my opinion every country, they have different mixture of curry when terms preparations of food or what kind of dish they want to prepare and merhods about the levels of spicy and sweet. Tell me if im wrong, in the Philippines we have the name kare kare but there are more different types of kare kare depends of what ingredients of meat and vegetables.

Nasi kangkang it is a black magic love potion created by bomohs (Malay witch doctors). The stories often involve a woman, usually a scorned wife, cooking a pot of rice for her husband. After that, she will squat over the steaming bowl, bottom naked, and let her sweat, fluids, and condensate drip down into the rice. Not any sexual thing.
