it sure is, i was surprised you said you had trouble with that rope jumping glitch? its not entirely frame perfect from my experience and i thought it was pretty simple to do, and and fyi, i do believe that same trick also made it into Uncharted 2, so heads up ;)

Hahah, glitches that allow you to sequence break like this are the greatest. For whatever reason, this reminded of a Sega Genesis platformer game called Flashback, that had an infamous glitch that literally allowed you to walk thru any wall and often led to a very funny results.

thanks for showing me how to aim clip though walls it helped me in skipping the hard parts and find secret paths to take to skip parts of the game like in the boat level towards the end of the game by just clipping though the closed blue doors to skip a large part of the game

Aim clipping is a fun out of bounds glitch for sure, it's always interesting how so many decently made games have similar glitches where you can force yourself out of bounds, it seems like they never truly figure out how to stop "buffering" type things to force yourself out of bounds or through walls.

WOW! It is really sad that the game designers didn't make something for that anything-clipping glitch! You are so right Andy: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is one of the most broken games in modern history! But anyway, I like it that you have more glitches about Uncharted since episode 11. Keep on making your videos awesome!

....I feel like the amount of time dedicated to finding and exploiting these glitches has got to be the equivalent of just solving the damned puzzle. Still wild to see!

hahahah, I knew Uncharted had a lot of glitches, but didn't know the game was that broken :P I always loved Uncharted 1 as much as the others, maybe even more, seeing how hilarious and funny it can be, makes me love it even more :P

Not an Uncharted one but watching these reminds me of a glitch I did in a Jak and Daxter game. I wanna say it was Jak 2 but I could be mistaken. I somehow got the hoverboard to be sideways from doing something weird with tricks. Unfortunately, doing another trick fixed it if I remember rightly and I've never been able to replicate it. To be specific, it was sideways as in pivoted like 90 degrees.

I can only guess I'll be seeing a few of these clips tonight during ADGQ!

That glitch where you jumped onto the turret and then hovered for a while before suddenly dying is actually pretty cool. There's a similar glitch in Ratched and Clank 1 where if you jump onto a sign in the Insomniac museum you'll hover for a while before suddenly dying. I'm guessing both games just have an automatic safeguard where falling too long makes the game kill you because you're not really supposed to survive an infinite drop.

Some games(as far as i know) use a timer, a distance measure, or a speed measure to determine how much damage you take

I never experienced any of those glitches and I've replayed the game like 5 times.

another fun one i ran into happens at one of the first shootouts in the game in the jungle ruins. nate kicks through a fence door to start the shootout, but if you die and respawn nate will try to kick the door but will get frozen in a floating t pose and just get shot to death with 0 defenses

I've never played the first one, i played the second and third and they were great

In the games on jumps you are meant to make it’s like you are magnetic basically it looks like your not going to make it but drake just quickly floats towards it

Played the remastered collection a month ago, a couple times in the first two games I'd get stuck on the collision of my companion, my companion would refuse to move, and it would kill me. Very fun!

0:54 I've gotten this to happen in all 3 of the games. After a few seconds, the game assumes you somehow got OoB and mercy-kills you. Same thing happens in Dead Space, except you get gibbed which is even better.

I remember when I was watching a speedrunner run Uncharted when one of his viewers told him about aim clipping (which at the time didn't have a name, so I suggested aim clipping as a name) so he stopped his run just to test out aim clipping in different areas.

I sped through this game today at a friend's house-- not speedrunning per se, but getting through the game in one session. I didn't use any glitches, but in the monastery in chapter 15, where you pull the two keys on the wall down to access the door, when we tried to pull down the first switch (on the right), apparently the collision data didn't load and Nate just fell right through the wall into a grey void :''') rip in pieces nate drake

I said on the first Uncharted 4 video that the Uncharted games are excellent but glitchy as hell, and oh man, people went _mental_. This proves my point pretty well.

A+Start I kid you not! Other than the aforementioned falling in mid air glitch, I've never had any glitches while playing this game. Similar to Arkham Origins on PS3, everyone talked about how buggy and unplayable it was, I personally only experienced one glitch towards the end of the game in Blackgate. A simple restart of the game fixed it, and I never had any other troubles with it. I guess I have good luck with not having my game broken by bugs? I don't know. Anyway, thanks for the reply, and keep up the good work with all your great videos!

I love everything about this show, your voice, your enthousiasm, the games, the glitches and, of course, you and the effort you put into each and every video. Cheers, and I hope you'll surpass 100.000 subs in 2015 ;)

Lol i used some of these clips in Uncharted 2 nultiplayer... Even multiplayer isnt save. XD Oh and btw: Looks like Uncharted 1 have a lots of speedrun potential. :P

One time I kicked a gate open and Nate went into the T-Pose thing and died lol. It was on The Nathan Drake Collection though. I also glitched through the submarine by jumping up and down the ladder lol.

2:15 I've seen that glitch in a spreedrun in AGDQ :)

I would love to see a speedrun of the game using these techniques.

I was playing Drake's Fortune once and when I walked this small gate, Nate did the T pose and wouldn't move. Literally his entire body was stiff but his facial expressions were hilariously effective as he got shot by enemies.

If you ever do Uncharted 2 and 3 (I hope you do XD) I have two weird glitches that I ran into in the ps3 Uncharted 3. Funny enough, they never appeared during my first few playthroughs of the game, but now they always appear. The first one is when you're chasing Talbot through Yemen. When you get into the building that you chase him upstairs until you lose him, you're supposed to go out the door to look for him. However, the door and the next area doesn't load properly, and I just fall into a void and die. It loads properly after that. The second glitch I encountered was when you and Sully are running out of Ubar as it collapses. The platforms you're supposed to jump across don't load in and Sully stumbles across ahead of you on nothing. You have to die to get it to load properly, but it was quite funny watching Sully running on air XD

There is another glitch at the end of chapter 5: the backwards slide glitch. To do this glitch go to the part right before chapter 6 were you knock over the small tower/pillar. Get on the ledge by the wall with the gate and jump to the window ahead of were you are and if you jump in a specific spot (I don't know were I've only been able todo this glitch once) You will slide backwards

God I'm glad there's uncharted remastered

I actually have a request for an episode. Could you cover Final Fantasy 7? One of my favorite games of all time, and I'm curious about glitches. I know there's videos showing different glitches, but only Son of a Glitch puts a lot of the better glitches in one video, in an easy to see format, with explanations.

there is game breaking glitch in Portal 1: I made myself a unkillable and played thru the half of a game without gettig any damage from turrents, energy balls and rocket launchers, but that weird brown liquid killed me for some weird reasons, but didn't reset the glitch!

It was amusing also in super mario 64 if you side flip then in the air ground pound marios legs will flip the other way
