First time I heard that song was in 1965, the Righteous Brothers. I was on my way to a Dude Ranch in the beautiful Texas Hill Country to spend a few days. Heard it again several times coming home. Such a sad, hauntingly beautiful love song.....Very nice video, Geoff. 🌹💞

I was patiently waiting for you to produce your inimitable version of this favorite of mine. (I dared not suggest it!) You've made me a happy woman today, Geoff. I have always paused to listen to this song on the radio--and time stood still for me until it was finished. Combining this with your interpretation---and listening to it with your ever-escalating skills--elevated me to the feelings I used to have on Christmas morning. Happy--smiling--all the positives a kid can feel, esp. when he/she gets the gift they looked forward to so much!!! Not the easiest song to play--but I think you passed up 'easy' a long while ago. A song that`s been done by more artists than tongue could tell but first version I ever heard was by dear old Jimmy Young .
