Uncas doesn't say much during the film, but the way he looks at Alice you can tell he loves her deeply and will do anything to protect her. It's a beautiful love story

Yo sólo digo que veáis el cabello de Alice antes de entrar bajo la cascada y luego al salir, quién le ha hecho esa trenza en el cabello? Yo digo que hay imágenes que se han cortado al final, para darle más protagonismo a los personajes principales.. la trenza es la clave...

Yes. Why?

The spoken words of love between Uncas and Alice were not necessary at all. You can read it in their eyes, how they were always looking to see where the other was and how Uncas cared for Alice's well being. Beautiful and sad love between the two of them. I watch the DVD at least twice a month and it still affects me the same way every time. Plus the scenery and music is perfect for this love without words.

It's heartbreaking they didn't survive, similar to "Romeo and Juliet". The soundtrack is as beautiful as the movie.

I love it when Nathaniel says to Uncas, " If you're done holding hands with Miss Munro" and Uncas gives that beautiful smile.

Jodhi May - only 17 years old in this movie - radiates pure class

Don’t make them like this anymore. I loved this couple. I will always lament they didn’t put in the scene of him braiding her hair at the waterfall. Nothing else was needed just that simple gesture. Would have helped explain their growing bond and why they each did what they did.

I never knew about that scene. How beautiful of a love story without all the smooching and Hollywood crap. A love as pure as anything. So sad both didn't survive in the movie and were taken without being able to see that love grow. Timeless movie and soundtrack

Brilliant movie keep watching it and Uncas is gorgeous ❤

Inizialmente quand'ero piccola e ho visto il film ho pensato per tutta la durata del film che il titolo fosse rivolto a Uncas poi visto la brutale fine che fa' capii che il titolo è rivolto al padre

ok this won't be popular but did anyone even care when Alice jumped? She was whiny, irritating and annoying. I don't know if the director told her to play Alice like that but whatever I didn't care when she jumped.

I definitely cared! I actually preferred Alice to Cora-as I’m shyer, and not physically strong. I can see why you would find her annoying, but in her defence, she was a sixteen-year-old girl traumatised by all the death she had seen. I respect your opinion, because to be honest, she didn’t have a lot of screen time😊
