UNC is a mess. If they hadn't gotten Chris Grey and hadn't had one hot streak, they'd be without a national championship since 1991. Or...about 35 years. A school of that size, with that pedigree, with that budget, with that new stadium losing to High Point? When did HP start their team, 2008? UNC is a joke. Princeton embarrassed them and HP just beat them at home. Anyone with any eyes or ears can see that Breschi needs to go. If you can't win at Michael Jordan U. with that budget and that campus you're doing something wrong. Just take a look down the road. Danowski is competing for a national championship every year. Breschi is hoping he can beat High Point and Stony Brook. Who hires Dave Pietramala? The guy was washed up in 2012 or so. Syracuse ran him out of town. And Breschi hires him? Yikes. Both have sons on the team, is this a serious program or a VERY well funded travel team? Imagine the locker room dynamics when the head coach and the D coordinator are in over their heads and they have THREE sons on the team! Think I'm being too strong? Let's see what UNC does down the stretch. Army, Virginia, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Duke. I bet they lose every single game and get outscored 82-30. Ah ha ha, they picked the wrong year to schedule a Patriot League team! ACC lacrosse rankings nationally ND=1, UVA=2, Cuse=3, Duke=5,...where is UNC? Uh oh. Unranked. And it's about to get worse! Ha, they host Army...you know, #6 in the country. Breschi seems like a nice enough guy, but he's either out of his element or not working hard enough. When Quinnipiac is ranked and the Tar Heels aren't, it's time for a coaching change. Owen Duffy ain't saving you guys. He either transfers or stays and has a lot of fun partying in Chapel Hill, and the program remains an afterthought.
