Wasn't Deacon Thomas supposed to have gotten born again & proved himself worthy to be made a Deacon? The story didn't explain what happened. How did a drug dealer become a Deacon & nothing of that was revealed to pastor who made him a Deacon? How did he marry a daughter of Zion in the pastor's church without his duplicitous character revealed? Didnt they have counselling before marriage & a time of prayer in courtship along with their pastor? The plot is weak bcos of this. So grateful Akanji or Randy didn't fall. We learnt the powerful impact of a praying mother from her & Mama.

You can't show everything in a movie, but the fact remains that we have many pastors , deacons still in this mess, many sisters, daughters of zion have fallen into the same mess. Let us be vigilant and sensitive

This is real, it happens. God still uses people who have such weaknesses. The Deacon should have been bold enough to tell his wife or pastor about it before it brought his downfall and eventually the death of his daughter. The wife too was too busy with other things instead of building the home spiritually. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the story line 😊

@@malaikacudjoemiledji1208 the Bible is very clear on the qualifications for a deacon. 1st Timothy 3:6-18. So a person struggling with addiction CANNOT be a deacon. God can still use the person but they should not be in the office of a deacon.
