Like all tricks and illusions it takes practice to pull it off.. This can be quite effective as an illusion providing your audience isn't too close..

Oh my god - THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS. I was totally going to buy this based on the Instagram advertisement - which I interpreted completely wrong in the following ways: 1. What it is: a magic trick, not a magic looking magnet trick; 2. How it works: with a string hooked to your ear, and not a bunch of carefully calibrated magnets working in tandem to blow your fucking mind; and, 3. The effort involved: OMG SO MUCH. Plus you should also have some sort of fondness for magic. Versus what I thought... you know... NO effort, but just a penchant for playing with super cool examples of how magnets are awesome. You sir, tonight, are my hero. Also... kids: never assume... it seriously makes an Ass out of u & me. My dad was right all along.

Thought was done with magnets. Didn't fully investigate before buying. Bad eyesight and poor hand coordination make impossible for me to string the thing. Maybe I'll return it--to China with tracking required! Ha! Hopefully, some Goodwill shopper will be use/enjoy.

If you don't know it is really actually a pretty cool illusion :)

After watching the "how to put it together" I realised I didn't recieve the plugs to hold the string in the hole. They showed the item that you put on your ear, you should see what they sent me. It would not fit on anyone's ear and no plug to hold the string on either. I am Very disappointed in this toy. I have to make on my own several things before I can make it work. Hardly worth the price or effort.

Please listen carefully, as our menu options have recently changed. Press "one" for English. Go back to Mexico for Spanish.

On a youtube video you can't see the string, but in real life I imagine you'll need dark clothing and low lighting for this to work. Can anyone confirm?

Putting it together would be much easier with a couple of tools: needle-nosed pliers and a sewing needle.

Foolish enough to buy based on AD. Spent an hour trying to set it up. Plug will not go into the hole and impossible to wrap plug with wire. Hopefully can find the China address to return for refund. Very big waste of time. Oh yeah, its not even wood. It’s plastic. Bah humbug for this!!

Hey, BUD. Yeah I think a two-year-old would certainly get tired of it.. This is kind of one of those tricks you could do as a show for maybe the 3 to 7 year-olds (if you can get them to sit down long enough ) . I wouldn't let them play with it but just as a little magic show :) Take care my FRIEND :)
