I have the rtr version and run it on 4s. I haven’t had any problems. I had to rebuild the center diff as well. After that all good been running it for a month. Now with no issues.

A rare RC video...not because the Truck is rare, but it's rare to get someone reviewing a product that actually tells you how it is. The Good...The Bad & The Ugly. Nice job dude, the truck certainly looks nice, but as you have pointed out, there 'may be' a few areas of concern there!

Yeah I knew this truck was junk when jake billing kept snapping his in half lol.

Kevin Talbot tested the rtr version and it held up surprisingly well, and he ran it on 4s with a fluoreon battery and it took it. 4s packs can fit but like you said I believe it has to be soft case 4s

If you put an 1/8th scale system in it, you'll need that wheelie bar. Mine back flipped off of flat ground and cracked the body when I barely half throttled it. But, it turned out to be one of my favorites.

What are the 2 little rings on top of the center diff? Tower to tower brace thank you for the video

The tactic receiver fits inside the battery compartment of the transmitter that comes with 2018 arrma cars so it's easier to keep them together. One more reason the tactic was better.

I have the 120a RTR version The rear end disinterested after a few drives and no big jumps and I've spent about 7 weeks trying to get the sorts I need, I'm almost there but yeah...

I say put the blx 185 in it and send it. I will enjoy every minute of it. I will follow suite and post the footage. I have a few skate parks close by just waiting for the snow to melt

I got The ZD Pirates 2 on road Gt and it came with a couple tools and a pinion gear 18 tooth and a book and nice box but that monster truck has a lot of nice aluminum on it way more than the touring car I put a 4s battery life n it no problem mate

The shocks look really nice. These were less than $140 shipped in the US at one point and I almost got one...I have a spare BLX185 combo sitting around but like Vas say the truck probably can't hold up to the power.

Max amps 6s pack fits perfectly. No worries.

Nice unboxing. I was looking at this roller chassis but when tower hobby lowered the price on the 1/8 scale force rc epidemic to $249 i started to check that out instead... Maybe you can do an unboxing and review on that truck for us.

I have the truggy version of the epidemic it's great, you just need a better servo and tighten the servo saver and its perfect

I have one and have bashed it at least 30 times with no issues. Hard crashes and collisions. It is extremely fast. Again i drive on dirt not skate parks which i dont get? Blows the doors off other rc i drive with.

Hopefully it will hold up, it looks pretty beefy but like u said its got some weak points, so we will see

HRB 6000 mah. 4s lipo (hard case) fits perfect. found on aliexpress.. You are korrect about the boddy , it brakes easy, i have the v2 pirates2, with the 120a esc, and its a bit to mutch with 4s, silly fast. I bet that for the price, you will be surprised what this truck can handle ;)

The hubs are too shallow for aftermarket tires, unless you use buggy tires. The front a arms are really weak I broke mine landing on one wheel off of small air. Also the tires are so weak they broke just using them on my notorious on grass rofl.

Oh by the way the 120amp version comes with 2 2s batteries I've heard there batteries are junk

Glad you picked this up maybe we can rebuild it together. All the diffs need attention don’t run it. Look it over. It’s a buggy not a monster truck. Great shocks shock towers, chassis. The body sucks and mostly questionable all the way through. For 400$ I could buy a 3s arrma and be way better off

Nah man don’t do it. I bought one ran it once detonated. It’s really narrow wheelbase for 1/8 scale. I wish it was better but it sits on my self for over a month waiting for parts

RakinBill no problem. I just want people to enjoy there rc experience. If you want no bs and guaranteed, save your money and get an arrma. If you want the monster truck style rc go for the notorious because it can do more than any rc that exists on the market. If you want to get into the hobby cheaper, you will have to gain experience with cars and know what your looking for. Honestly you can skip a lot of bs if you just spend the money now rather than work through issues on your first truck.

I wanted this month's ago but didn't want to end up with bunch of RC vehicles like most of you. LOL. I am going to just order it & install Chinese waterproof 120a ESC for $43, Turnigy 1650 8s motor for $50, two 4S 5000mah battery for $90, 20kg servo but ordering new 30kg. All this is currently on my Redcat Terremoto 10 v2 1/10 with 1/8 tires. This Pirates 2 roller is perfect for someone who wants to customize the electronics and still save money & time not trying to sell stock electronics. BTW, stock ESC is not waterproof. Have a blow dryer ready to save your ESC. My next one might be the TeamRedcat TR-MT8E BE6S 1/8 for $600.

4000 mah 2 s batteries fit it or a 4500 mah 4 s is the max. But I’d rate this as a 1/10 scale so not terrible

I have this machine and it’s fun. But!!!!! I’ve been waiting for c cup hubs for 3 months now so it’s still new. I’ve since naught an arrma . I wish ZD racing had parts support. If anyone knows were a can get c cup hub would be great . Oh the body shattered on the my second run not jumping . I put a raptor body on the truck now and looks amazing just wish I could drive it 🙃🙃🙃 Gearsbest is no help. Wow mine came in packed box with foam😲😲😲oh plus cracked my inner rim as well and in welded it 😂. I got full kit

Dude there's a rc car that is 10 dollars more but comes with everything except for the battery charger. It is called the T8X and you can get it off nitrorcx.com that car is fast, strong and chip I know because I have one and crashed it hard for months and still going strong you could test one out if you want
