Nice work on this. Mine deluxe version is in the mail, but this gave me a vicarious fix while I'm anxiously waiting. Great commentary on the different versions and history of the game.

I think it's important to note that the motivation for the errata counter sheet is mainly a print-error (missing red on some German units). - not denomination errors.

Nice to see this unboxing, I got mines on KS, and thought: nah, just another regular big game like GBoH Alex, OCS CB etc. When the postman handed me the package it cought me off guard and I almost dropped it on the floor. Now I have finished counter clipping for the basic game, there are still a ton of them waiting, and I do not think I can play it. Thanks for recall my horror and sadness ;-) BTW. the mounted maps are certainlly "Collector-Edition" enough, but I really do not like mounted maps, once the bent due to e.g. humidity, they are bent, so I am thinking to get a set of the old paper maps as playing pieces and let these stay in the box. Well thanks for the video and please keep doing them.

I still have 3 copies of WiF 5th Edition plus the Gold Editions of PiF, Asia in Flames, Africa in Flames. I also bought the so called WIFFE in about 1993 (two copies). About 5 years ago I got the Khaki In Flames, I think I've found someone to play WiF with. Not sure whether or not to introduce him to 5th Edition or the WIFFE. Done some reading about the "differences " between WIFFE and the 7th Edition and or the Collectors Editoion.

I gave up having the counters in the box. Instead I have them in 8 binders on the next shelf.

I must resist.....but I doubt I will be able to. I’ve long wanted to get a copy of WiF. Not sure why since nobody will play it with me.

I wish I knew people who played this game I use to have the older edition but tossed it away I want to get this one though do you play other games

I do play other games just not all at once lo . World in flames though is a favorite amd deluxe is superb

"People complain about too many unboxing videos" I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who isn't forced to watch any videos that don't interest me. I guess some people don't have this advantage. That's too bad for them. I personally think there are too many handbag unboxing videos, but how obnoxious of me would it be to complain about it to the content creators, when there are so many people who do enjoy them? I find it much more polite to simply pass by the videos that don't interest me, and spend time watching the ones that do. After all, the word "unboxing" in the title is a pretty clear giveaway of what is going to happen in the video. Are these complainers clicking into an unboxing video unaware of what unboxing means? Who am I to whine about what someone else might like? Do KZread content creators now need to cater to my interests, and mine alone? Maybe it's just me. Sorry for the rant, but I've heard this on other channels and just wish people would stop trying to regulate KZread content to their liking. I hope it is clear I've directed this at the complainers, not you the content creator. :)

About Divisions in flames, totally not worth it. Makes the game too granular imho, The map is already crowded as is, with Divisions in flames it just gets more bloated without adding much... Naval combat in this game kinda sucks. Too abstracted imho. Compared to something like Pacific War, it suffers. Heck, even Empire of the Sun is way better as a naval system.
