In this exciting tabletop miniature gaming Unboxing video we take a look at the return to the days of yore with the brand new Warhammer the Old World up for pre order. This unpacking experience has us looking at one of two options for this release and here we take a peek at the Warhammer: The Old World Core Set - Kingdom of Bretonnia Edition of the boxset of Citadel Miniatures. The other set up for pre order is the Warhammer: The Old World Core Set - Tomb Kings of Khemri Edition as well. This is the return to square bases in tabletop gaming. Games Workshop was kind enough to send a review copy of this latest release for Warhammer. Wargaming is Life.

Square bases and the lance formation are back baby!!! I'm happier about the lance formation thing...
Man I was born in 1994.. that being said old world looks super fun and the figures are so charming. I loved looking at the high elves as a kid, If they get a box I might have to get one!
Im totally jealous i want i want gimme gimme lol. So can't wait to pick up a box
The only lore change I have heard is that every knight in service uses their lords heraldic emblem instead of their own in this time period and Women can be knights in this period for some reason and if they give a lore reason that's fine if a bit weird since the couldn't later own

It's not a full reset of the time line. Its a soft reset. Also there were female knights later

@@torganya Where the only one I can think of is Repanse de Lyonesse and the only reason she became a knight was that the Lady choose her spacifically for it, thats like her whole gimmick

@@torganya But it often does when it goes against the lore it is ruining it. Like the Vostroyan Firstborn that only took firstborn sons before and now takes both. Dont change the lore keep it as it was and make something new. Also you should never make something for inclusivity or wokeness it does not belong anywhere what is next black knights who does not fit the timeperiod or narrative no thanks

Then do we need male mages of the lady cuz thats inclusive? No all magic children were taken away by the ladys servant and only females return to bretonnia as handmaidens of the lady. The lore is the men are knighr and the females are the mages
