Wow Andrew! I love it! Have fun shooting with your new camera!

I just ordered one of these for $70 in pretty good working condition with a battery and charger (although I bought spares for prolonged use). Seems like a pretty good deal considering how much everyone else wants for one new old stock, or even a different (and older) TX-series model is more expensive than what I paid the TX-100V for. I'm not one for touch capacitive when it comes to cameras, but the OLED display and supposed excellent low light performance drew me in as I have a dim room. Plus I love going macro.

Very nice camera. It has a German Carl Zeiss lens which are suburb! That should be your main go to camera. Enjoy!

This has full 1080p res. Will you be uploading the videos in 1080p?

Nice!! I film with the TX-100V... great camera, in fact same color. Mine took a ton of damage in 2013, and somehow still works AMAZINGLY!!!

I should mention that new cameras like the TX30 use a microUSB connection instead of Sony's proprietary USB connection.

You got a deal like me. A older model for dirt cheap. Think I did good at more than half off. Haven't used my video camera much yet but have been impressed with it so far. Battery seams OK. Shoot even my old Sony Hi-8 that I thought I was going to have to go back to the battery will still hold a decent charge. Just wouldn't trust it 100%

And also I believe it is a mini-HDMI and not mini-USB.

I might get this camera, my TX 20 is almost in the same shape as your TX 10.

the tx100v does outstanding in low light. much better than the 20 or 30

***** I AGREE owning a TX-100V and my grandma owning a TX-20 (which is my backup). TX-100V is one of the greatest low light cameras I have ever seen. The TX-20 is subpar in low light.

I got that camera too. As I know my Sony TX100V was better than my crummy Samsung DV300F

Can you test this at the market parking garage?

That cable wasn't proprietary it was micro usb

I think Delgato had the same camera, but upgraded to the wx300. He no longer makes videos. :(
