    It's expensive, its hyped. And it delivered! Removed stubborn wheel lugs torqued to 150 ft lbs. Commercial mower blades. Tractor lugs... It's a surprisingly powerful unit. More powerful than my 450 ft lbs air gun. I'm happy with it

    I used kzread.infoUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell

    The 4th setting is auto, uses as much torque as it needs to get the nut off but slows down immediately after getting the nut off to prevent it from flying back and hitting you. But the 4th one only uses 30ft lbs to tighten nuts, if you want it tighter you have to use 2 or 3.

    This thing is a beast. If you are just a DIYer like me who lives in the Midwest so we have to deal with rusted bolts all the time, this is the right tool for you. I do have the height torque that I’ve only used like once because the rusted ball bearings of my Chevy equinox was too much for the mid-torque, but other than that this works like a charm. I was lucky that Home Depot had a Black Friday sale last year on their “mechanic’s kit” and I got this one, the high torque, their m12 cordless ratchet, 4 batteries (2 M18 and 2 M12) and a charger for $700. Totally worth it.

    Nice video man. From my understanding the 4th is used for both. When loosening, it’ll sense when the bolt is loose and lower the rpm so you don’t swing your socket across the shop, and when tightening it’ll stop at 20-35 pounds as to not over torque anything

    Oh man. You’re really going to like this one. I bought the 3/8” and 1/2” on a buy one get one deal my local Home Depot was having. They don’t play around and will remove just about everything you need them to. The three LEDs were a major upgrade, too. They feel quite a bit lighter than the Gen 1 mid torques. I typically use a 6.0 high output battery on mine and was able to pull semi lugs with it. Seriously impressive tool. Another great video, dude!

  • @kennguyen693

    If it can pull semi lugs. What would be the purpose of the high torque? Like what is that one even for

  • @AlexMaysonet

    @AlexMaysonet

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@kennguyen693 The mid torque has the power to remove them but you will greatly reduce the service life of the tool if you use this to remove high torque fasteners like that all the time. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. It’s the wrong tool for that job. You really should be using at least a 3/4” gun on stuff that large that’s torqued that high.

    Yh so the last setting will automatically stop when it feels friction so that you don’t strip bolts I actually thought settings 1-3 was for taking of bolts and the last one for delicately fastening them.

    Love your videos ... although wish you kept the mk7. With that said... Milwaukee is good brand have a bunch of their stuff and use then for years on my cars. The 4th setting on the gun is actually for tightening the first 3 are to loosen stuff. The 4th is there so you dobt overtorque the nut/bolt

I tested them side by side and the 2662 would break the same max amount the 2962 would. It is smaller than the 2662...but I am going to return it.

    We benched tested it and it’s quite a bit more powerful than the 2662 side by side and we didn’t even use the high output battery. I would definitely take it back may have something wrong with it. We replaced all our 2662 with it now and had nothing but good things to say about it. If it’s a really rusted super large bolt we will use the big boy but really haven’t needed it yet since we started using this one. It’s a very impressive tool now I don’t know about purchasing the Gen 3 because it’s only 250 ft lbs of torque and yes I refuse to say nut busting lol. Good tool overall doesn’t replace the high torque in every situation but most of them.
